"We stayed for three nights for two people. The room was clean and just the right size. The breakfast was so luxurious and delicious, it didn't seem like it was the morning after. It was a little disappointing that there was no bathtub in the bathroom, but there was a hot spring nearby, so we used that. If we have the opportunity, we would like to stay at Kotobuki Hotel again."

"November 22, 2025, one night in a twin room. The rooftop restaurant on the 7th floor had a great view and a nice buffet breakfast, including ingredients exclusive to Kanoya, showing great care. The room was spacious. Although it's a relatively old hotel, you could tell they've put a lot of effort into maintaining it! In the morning, you could even see the sunrise over the opposite mountain from the window! It was really wonderful! It's quite close to Kanoya attractions and the rose garden, making it a convenient place to stay."

"A very interesting container hotel, much better than I expected. It's no different from a regular business hotel; it has everything you'd expect—quiet, clean, and the room size is just right, about the size of a shipping container. My biggest fear is that the shower water won't be enough, but surprisingly, it was very strong, which was incredibly refreshing. It was also very quiet, a great experience overall. Shopping and dining options nearby are a bit out of the way, so you definitely need a car to stay at this hotel. If I ever go on a road trip again, I would stay at this hotel again."

"The location is good and there are Dairex, Matsukiyo, Cosmos Izakaya and family restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble. We had dinner in the hotel because it was raining, but it was delicious! Due to various circumstances, we were unable to enjoy the hot springs and breakfast that we were looking forward to, so if we have the opportunity to go to Kanoya, we would like to book this hotel again ^_^"

"This hotel's main attraction is a popular hot spring facility in Kanoya. The access road from the main road is difficult to find. Use the "Taihei Onsen" sign as a landmark. The building is visible from the main road, but the parking lot and entrance are not. We arrived by following local cars. Many vehicles parked there were using the hot springs. The hot springs and the hotel have separate entrances. The front desk is to the left of the hotel entrance, the lounge is to the right, and the smoking room is at the back. The guest rooms are on the second floor to the right. The stairs are steep with luggage. The twin rooms are spacious enough. The dining room is on the first floor. Dinner has a homemade feel, and many long-term guests are seen. Breakfast is 500 yen, and many locals frequent it. The hot spring building is accessible via a covered outdoor walkway. You can enter by exchanging your hotel key at reception. You can bathe in a yukata if you are identified as a hotel guest. The large bicarbonate bath is nice. The exercise bath is not often used. There are two saunas: far-infrared and steam. Many local regulars visit."
