"We needed somewhere to rest before our after midnight flight and this was an excellent choice. Our driver dropped us off and Kahn warmly welcomed us. The room we had was small but comfortable and clean with a queen bed, tea making facilities/water, lovely big shower. Had a peaceful few hours sleep despite a thunderstorm raging outside. We didn’t eat here, maximising sleep. Kahn organised a car to take us to the airport at our nominated time. Note this hotel is in a suburban area behind the airport. Planes were heard but not directly overhead. It is under 10 mins from the airport and was perfect before our flight home."

"This hotel is great for Airport stop!! However, the top floor is very nosy with wind and rain. Due to being very high up you are level with the trees so getting to sleep is tricky! With it being a short distance from the airport, planes departing and arriving are very frequent, coming and going every 20-40 minutes which can’t be helped but something to be aware of when booking. The room is very clean, spacious and great AC. The bed is wooden frame so very squeaky and the mattress was not comfortable unfortunately. Shower was powerful in the evening but hardly any pressure in the morning. The owner was lovely and very accommodating with helping get a tuktuk to the airport. Thank you!"

"I initially thought it would be convenient since it's close to the airport, so it would only take a few hours to arrive. However, the night turned out terrifying. We couldn't find any staff, it was pitch black all around, and we were the only ones in the room. The facilities were incredibly old, there was no hot water, and the blankets were filthy. The building itself was in good condition, but perhaps the owner didn't take care of it."

"Clean, and good if you're coming in from a late flight and just need a clean place to crash for a night. Lower score on service because we booked a transfer, but it didn't show (had to get an Uber in the chaos). The hotel is walking distance from the airport, but if you have a few pieces of luggage, it's a walk across a busy highway and the pavement will disappear as you approach the hotel. You get small tubes of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shower cap. That's it for amenities."

"Average hotel not worth the high price, no free airport drop off service. The room was clean and comfortable, good to sleep in before and early morning flight. However, during check-in I was given no information about any amenities or facilities, such as wifi, the pool, or airport drop off service. There was no information in the room about how to contact the front desk through the phone, and my room was very far from the desk due to the strange layout of the hotel. I had to make a few trips back to the desk to ask for the wifi password and to arrange an airport drop off. However, when I arranged it, I was not asked for my room number or to pay for it, I was just told what time I would be picked up. i later found out the drop off service was 2500 rupees, more than double what uber was offering."

"Convenient to the airport for an overnight transit. Good meals ( we had lunch and dinner) and timing for pickup and transfer was perfect. The owner and his family were just wonderful! So attentive and helpful on testing to fly back to US. It’s so nice to have a chance to meet the son and we went for a walk in the afternoon and the neighbors waved and called out ( it was their New Years celebration so there were fireworks) -it was overall a great experience. My only drawback was doing our antigen test by a telemedicine conference call and the Wifi was not working( probably due to power outages from government upheaval) so I had to use cell coverage and it was slow but 1 hour later we had the results and his son helped us print it out. A great last night in a wonderful country. I would definitely stay again."

"Despite my short notice, they were very accommodating and responded quickly to my inquiry messages. They also responded very quickly to my messages. When I arrived at the inn, I was surprised at how old the facilities were, unlike the photos, but the owner was a very nice person and I felt comfortable talking to him. They also arranged for an early morning taxi and made getting to the airport very smooth, which was very helpful. I would like to use their services again when I come to Sri Lanka. Thank you."
