"The staff make this hotel very enjoyable, from reception, restaurant, cleaning & waiting staff all are very helpful . We had a lovely room ( 204) above the restaurant with views to the sea and watched the sunsets every night. We were on H/B and enjoyed all of our meals , although the menu is not the biggest . The restaurant manager was very helpful in suggesting options that suited our taste. Kefalonia airport is not very big and the planes landing were not an issue while sat by the pool. Ammes beach is a 5 minute walk away and there is a bus that goes into Argostoli throughout the day , €2.50 . We have had holidays in Kefalonia every year for the last 15 years and have seen all of the lovely island , we did not have a car but did go into Argostoli on the bus and had a taxi back. Electra are having a larger hotel built adjacent which should be open by July 2027. The building works did not affect our stay. We had a very relaxing stay and are very much looking forward to returning in 2027. A big thank you to everyone."

"The hotel is beautiful, we stayed in a gorgeous villa with a private pool which was immaculate and reading other reviews was expecting out of date decor, but it’s gorgeous and traditional! The view is unbelievable, I can’t put into words how stunning it was ❤️ THE STAFF I have never experienced service like it; they were just wonderful! Couldn’t do enough for you and everything felt so genuine. Thank you so much to all the incredible people who work there for making our stay so special. It is a steep trek up to the hotel but you can take your time and I would suggest doing the stairs and taking a break at the pool bar to have a delicious cocktail to break up the walk. Would highly recommend this hotel and the town it’s set in was incredible too. Didn’t have one bad meal or experience anything but wonderful service anywhere we went ❤️"

"True, not every bedroom comes with a glorious view. Mine faced a concrete wall! But it was well appointed with the best Greek mattress I have ever slept on. There is no lift to the first floor, which was a pain for me, with age and disabilities. I have to say here that the staff team was amazing. Dealt with my luggage like professionals. Not patronising or demeaning to me in any way. I managed the stairs and took my own time. The building appears to have served a range of functions. It has been tastefully renovated. Breakfast was great! Plenty of choices . Staff asked people if they wanted more, before service ended. The single room did not have a balcony, nor would it have been practical to build one. I will return for the staff alone. It’s not easy to travel alone with disability, and I was treated with respect and dignity! That alone makes the Alley experience priceless!"

"Really nice accommodation, in a perfect location. A few yards from the beach. Rooms were well equipped with everything you need. Kitchen was large and spacious with large fridge freezer. All windows and doors had shutters and fly screens and air conditioning. Bathroom was modern with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful, we ate a few times in the Hemingway and the food and service was good. Views from the apartment were amazing each morning. Sunbeds were great and really comfortable and around the same price as others on the beach. Service on the beach was great. Would definitely recommend you stay here if visiting Lourdas."

"We hired two villas for our family trip in May. We had the most wonderful time - the villas are perfectly laid out, creating a safe and inviting space for families. The pool was really clean and well kept and the villas themselves were also very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views from the balcony of the sea. Elena was the perfect host, answering our questions before and during the trip and was very responsive. Lots of nice places to eat and drink in walking distance, as well as the beach. Overall a fabulous trip and we would absolutely return again!"

"Hotel is positioned on a beautiful part of the island. The grounds are lush and pool is great. We loved everything here as far as the environment, views, amenities and our room, but the service was quite poor specially with the front desk. Our room was directly by the pool, and two nights in a row live music was playing at the pool restaurant until 11pm, which is great if you are there enjoying it, but not when you have a small child and trying to put them to bed. The next day when I told the front desk member that the music was very loud in our room and we were unable to sleep he just said yes we can play music until 11. When I pushed further and asked if we could be moved the answer was no. And that was that. I was stunned at this terrible customer service. I appreciate the hotel was fully booked but a simple gesture, an apology or sympathy would have gone a long way."

"We just returned from a 4 night stay and had the most wonderful experience. We travelled to Argostoli with our 2 older teens (17 & 19) who shared their own room. We were all located on the 2nd floor. My husband and I were upgraded to a room with 2 balconies one with a jacuzzi tub. It was one of the nicest hotel rooms we’ve stayed in and we travel often. The kids room was smaller but appropriate for their needs. The shower and products offered were all high quality. The towels, bedding, robes, and pillows were also excellent quality. The staff are attentive, helpful and kind. The minute you sit down in the lobby they are ready with a fresh glass of cold water. The breakfast service is beautiful. The tall gentleman and the women who are there most every day are professional and attentive. They really make the experience wonderful. The assortment of choices is perfect to start the day. The location of the Casaly Hotel is excellent. It’s just about 4 minutes walk to all the action of the main downtown area. We preferred staying a bit away from all the action as it was quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the balcony looking at the water everyday. There is not a doubt that if and when we return to Argostoli we will return to the Casaly Hotel. Thank you again Katrina and Maria at the front desk for all of your help!"

The photos on the website don't do it justice . 5 stars don't even come close to describing this property. The attention to detail is something you notice as soon as you set foot on site. The entire staff was incredibly accommodating. Our meals were delicious and they were able to accommodate a severe gluten allergy for a family member. We are already planning our return next year !! Don't miss out on Eliamos !!!"

What a fantastic experience starting with our beautiful Angelic Xena on the front desk who welcomed us as though we were “Royal’s” spending time explaining everything to us and even gave us a hand written Anniversary letter. She couldn’t wait to teach us after us asking to teach us a Greek Phrase each day that we attempted to learn… μας φέρθηκαν σαν να ήμασταν οικογένεια Nico greeted us and with his calming charm made us very welcome and the bar staff headed by George were great … All of them including the house keeping ‘First Class’!!!’ Kefalonia we will be back and La Signora we hope to see you again real soon .."

"Nice big pool, spacious, however our rooms were infront of an orchard and the wasps made it impossible to use our balcony. Also the self catering apartments both lacked a saucepan we asked at reception for one so we could cook but were told NO!!!. Also back doors didn't lock told to use shutters which the lock fell out of whenever you tried to lock it. Hinge broken on kitchen shutters which therefore wouldn't close, shower leaked all over bathroom floor, mouldy ceiling in bathroom, blg long black hairs left in sink n shower and yellow water in loo brush."

"Our stay at Tetra Kefalonia was exceptional from beginning to end. It is not the most expensive hotel on the island, but it offers outstanding value for money. The rooms with private pools and sea views are beautifully designed, tastefully furnished, and the perfect size. They were cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided for both the pool and the shower. The hotel itself is elegant, peaceful, and run by genuinely warm and welcoming staff. We were greeted personally by the hotel manager on arrival, who congratulated me on my recent achievement, which was the reason for our trip. It created an excellent first impression. He checked in with us every day to make sure everything was exactly as we needed, and we were delighted to find that we had been upgraded to a room with a much better view. The rest of the team were just as attentive. When we enquired about hiring a car, the receptionist returned with several options and helpful local advice. She even made all the arrangements for us. I would highly recommend hiring a car during your stay, as we completed a full lap of the island and it was one of the highlights of our visit. Although the hotel had some ongoing building work, it was completely out of the way and caused no disturbance at all. We only knew about it because the manager mentioned it. The atmosphere remained quiet, calm, and incredibly relaxing throughout our stay. The main pool area was stylish, comfortable, and a lovely place to unwind during the day. Overall, this was a five‑star stay in every respect. Excellent service, beautiful rooms, and a truly memorable experience. I would recommend Tetra Kefalonia without hesitation."

"I was overall happy with the hotel, staff were friendly & helpful & it was nice & clean. A few points that would be helpful were help to room with luggage when arriving (quite a long walk down a slope) & some water in room on arrival (was very thirsty after traveling & walk to room). The location was good just a short walk to beach & local bus stop, plus a few restaurants, small shops. Room was more basic than I had expected but for the amount of time spent in room was fine & kept very clean. Around the poolside was lovely & the sunbeds excellent. Food was a little disappointing in regards to selection,the bar food which you payed for was so much better than the buffet which was included so that was an extra cost unexpected. I had a lovely stay & felt very relaxed though would recommend but just be aware of small points I made above."

"We really loved the place overall. The room was big, clean, spacious and new, and the pool was amazing. We stayed for 11 days and after a while we did get a bit tired of the same meals being served. One thing to note is that the terrace was only cleaned if we specifically asked for it. If we did not ask, it was not done. It would also have been great if the cleaning staff could leave fresh pool towels in the room every day. Instead, we had to bring the used ones to reception and exchange them ourselves daily. All the staff were great, with one exception. The woman at breakfast who was taking omelet orders was very rude and unprofessional, constantly shouting at poor Panagiotis and acting bossy towards him. It is clear she is not suited for the job, and her behavior created a negative impression in an otherwise friendly environment. Lastly, a tip for travelers. I and some other guests got bitten by wasps. It is not the hotel’s fault, but in Greece they are everywhere day and night, so it is good to be prepared. Despite these small issues, we would still recommend the place for its beautiful rooms, great pool and overall lovely atmosphere."

"A wonderful experience, this place is a little bit of heaven ! So peaceful and relaxing with views that are incredible! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was spacious, clean and had a wonderful terrace. It was cleaned everyday and the bed linen and towels were changed half way through a 7 night stay. Irene is very welcoming and we had a wonderful Greek coffee and cake with her in her apartment which was a bonus ! The pool is super and plenty of beds and umbrellas. The area is also very good, enough to keep us busy for 7 nights and the walk down to the lovely beach was also a highlight, with more bars and restaurants,although we needed a taxi back each time but that was very easy and only €10. We can’t wait to go back next year"

"Had a lovely short stay here with my daughter. Super convenient as close to airport and I didn’t want to drive, had wonderful suite with our own pool, beach 5 mins walk away, supermarket approx 8 mins walk. Argostoli about 15 mins in taxi if you want to visit to spot the turtles and do some shopping. Had half board and the staff looked after us so well as my daughter has some intolerances. Also had a couple of treatments at the spa which was a lovely and much needed treat. Yes it is close to the runway but to be honest didn’t bother us at all, seems we have turned into involuntary plane spotters. Hope the Jet2 flight that had to go around managed to land safely!!! Already missing our pool - but huge thanks to all the hard working staff who made it a special stay."
