Glenholmekendal

"We stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe double room 2.. When we arrived round the back to the parking it was a little off putting but wow what an amazing stay we had. Parking was secure and we were met by Glenys who advised our room was ready although we were early. Wow what a room. Everything you could imagine, fridge microwave, cafetiere, every sort of tea you could want fresh coffee and hot chocolate, kit kats, twix, mint cake, fresh milk in the fridge. Lots of draw space. Hairdryer spare blanket if needed, iron and ironing board, fan, heater as well as a large radiator, spare towels and toilet rolls in draw, dressing gowns. This room was home from home everything clean and plenty of lighting, There was a table and two chairs, plus two comfy chairs an excellent dresser and mirror for putting on make up or doing hair, plus a long mirror. She even had cutlery and plates should you want take away. I have never been anywhere like it Glenys thought of everything! Breakfast was amazing, lots of fresh fruits/pastries cheeses meats yoghurts cereals fruit loaf juices. Then came the full English my oh my perfectly cooked with toast of your choice, jams marmalade just wonderful. She had bought some portuguese tarts which I told her were my favourites as I had in Portugal and not had much since. She made sure she had them the next morning for me. What a lovely thing to do as she had to shop purposely for them. Glenys was the perfect host and I cant praise her enough, everything was just perfect. Thank you Glenys we had a wonderful time and will certainly come again and recommend highly."
