Park Hotel Kenmare ★★★★★

"Room was a newly done up suite and was beautiful. Tje breakfast and waiting staff are so nice and helpful. The hotel check in experience would have been lovely but I noticed the full charge for the stay plus dinners which I had cancelled previously were also charged. The hotel is just lovely especially the art is very impressive. We were unhappy that we were charged for everything upfront without even asking were we going to have a two course or three course meal. At checkout we queried this and advised it was an error and would be refunded. I called the hotel five days in a row for my refund and receipt.. Each day I was assured it was being posted to my account today, and was given a difference excuse as to why this did not happen. Staff member gone on honeymoon to USA, staff member out on sick leave. No one available and someone will get back to you etc. . It took five calls over five days to finally get our refund. I would at least have expected to receive a detailed receipt, an explanation and apology. A pity as we are returning customers and have been twice this year. And also once a year over past ten years. Staff need to be able to deal in a professional manner with customers and follow through with what they say…..and not leave to customer to chase up. To date I still have not received my receipt. Not great service from a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel."
