"The room's decor and facilities are outdated, and the cleanliness was just so-so. Plus, the more expensive deluxe sea-view rooms are really far from all the amenities; it took us over twenty minutes just to walk to breakfast and back every day. What's more, we had clearly booked a room with a buffet breakfast included, and our names were on the list and checked upon entry, but when we checked out, they insisted we sign a bill for a tip. This place is definitely not worth the price. I'll never choose this hotel again."

"Wow! Simply a beautiful property! The grounds are exquisitely maintained and abundant in beauty! The staff is very gracious, helpful, friendly and eager to serve! The two bedroom accommodations were fabulous! VERY spacious and extremely nice with excellent housekeeping! The resort sits on the stunning Poipu Beach which is excellent for swimming, snorkeling and wildlife viewing (sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals). The pool area is just lovely and the pool is so much fun! It was really nice that the resort has multiple hot tubs since the spas are rather small having more than one helped accommodate more people who wished to sit in the spa. Parking was nice and close to the units. Our particular untol was a ground floor that opened to the pool area and we loved walking from our lanai to the pool. We cannot wait to return to this resort and highly recommend it! We did not eat at the resort because we just cooked in our well appointed kitchen or ate at local restaurants but the resort did seem to offer some casual dining options and take out options that seemed quite popular."

"The room was very big. The front desk upgraded the room for my honeymoon with my husband. There was a microwave, induction cooker and washing machine and dryer in the room, so I could wash my clothes immediately after snorkeling every day. It was very convenient. In addition, I signed up for a speedboat tour in the morning. I didn't have time to eat breakfast in the hotel, so I quickly made a meal in the room. Behind the hotel is the famous sunset wall where you can watch the sunset. The only regret is that I saw a dead big cockroach in the room on the last day of my stay..."

"I booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom room. The room was very big. The bed in the master bedroom was very big, and the other room had two single beds. One bathroom was very big. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was not much to eat near the hotel, so it was good to stay here, suitable for families who want to cook. There was only one supermarket, Big Save, nearby. But I had to ask not to stay on the first floor when I checked in. At first, I was given a first floor. Because the sound insulation in the room was too poor, I could hear the footsteps on the second floor very clearly. I didn't sleep well all night. I moved to the third floor, the highest floor. The swimming pool was not bad, and you can walk directly to the beach from there."

"Not like other Marriott’s I have stayed in. Usually Marriott’s staff are trained and are following the same protocol. The staff in this hotel act the same as a 2 star hotel! They are untrained, irresponsible and pretty much blind to their customers or their inquiries. Also the hotel had rooms facing parking lot, called island view! To be in one of the most beautiful islands and have a view over the parking lot at price of Marriott’s is incredibly expensive."
