"The worst food ever had in my life . I invited my friend who loves sea food . They served the worst of the worst prawns , which was smelling like anything . The smell of the food was not going from mouth once we mistakenly have one piece. They voided the bill the things which we suffers after having this food was un imaginable . So sorry to say the server was amazing the food was the worst . We wont recommend any one over there. We were suppose to go to the executive but the place was empty we chose the local . Which was a wrong decision."

"We were in Kovalam at this property for a week. First things first, the rooms we got were nice, had a decent balcony overlooking the front of the property, the air conditioning and hot water worked well. It is really close to a wonderful beach, some small shops and local food joints and only a short walk away from a quiet beach and spots that you could enjoy. The property itself had a lot of work going on, so I can understand that they were preparing for a major tourist season and it might become better. The pool was dry and I was hoping that I'd get to enjoy some pool time but that did not happen. Perhaps due to the low tourist season, the restaurant had limited dish choices but the food was good. The staff is very sweet and nice but the hotel can do with some more thorough upgrades with housekeeping, such as providing fresh towels timely and so on. Otherwise, the hotel is nice but my family and I felt that for the price we paid, we could have gotten more for the price. Nevertheless, it is a good and decent hotel, I wouldn't keep high expectations. It will certainly get 10/10 for it's location and sweet staff. This is not to reflect on the hotel management or staff directly or negatively but it would be nice if they set ground rules for some big tourist groups they get, particularly the Gujarati tour groups, in reminding them of maintaining the calm and quiet on the property. Again, it is more about the tourist behavior than anything on the hotel itself."

"Very nice and clean rooms. Excellent and helpful staff. Very professionally run. The location could not be better. Breakfast is an experience in itself. The hotel has a lovely terrasse on top, perfect for a sunset drink. We got all the assistance we could ask for and were very happy with our stay. We will most certainly come back to this wonderful hotel!"

Hotel Sea View Palace - the Beach Hotel

"I booked the delux room with large bed from agoda for 3 people. After reaching the hotel, they didnot provide a better room. The AC was making irritating sound the whole night. There was a leakage at the ceiling from where water was dropping. No water in the bathroom. If guest complain then they put the water motor. They gave a extra mattress. When I asked them to arrange the mattress the hotel helping hand said that you arrange your bed yourself as I have other important work to finish. The behavior of the staff is really bad. It's better to come directly to kovalam snd book a hotel on the fly as there are many hotels around but not registered in any online app. "
