I must say one of the advantages of Beach and Lake is it is very near to Thiruvananthapuram Airport and staffs doctor and therapists they do everything the best service for your needs and cure. U will call room service reception will pick up call and keep on transferring then also room service will noy pick up call..U order food they will call multiple times to confirm and change order that this is not available.. Third class maintainance in hotel.. They will send food uncovered from restaurant to rooms which are far.. Food quality is poor they will serve cold parathas.. So think twice before booking.. Don't go by photos and location.. I wasted my 2 days here"

Property adjacent to the beach was excellent spot for relaxing walking etc.The food spread was excellent and we stayed for 5 days and didn’t have any issue that shows the quality of food they serve All the staff in the restaurant was hospitable. The Staff Nazeem and Roy extended warm service. Overall it was an excellent stay , we go back with good memories .Also their Ayurveda oil massage Suresh who have 29 years of experience was too good."

"The hotel has a great location, we took a room in the main building. Beautiful and well-kept grounds, the staff is friendly, they were always interested in our wishes. The pool is small, but the rooms with a view of the garden and the club rooms have their own pools, so there were few people, you could easily sit on the sun loungers. I didn't like the intrusive taxi drivers at the entrance to the hotel. We called an Uber, but they didn't let the driver pick us up! We had to go up a little higher (towards the Gokolam hotel) and only there we were able to get into the car. Very unpleasant, and for a hotel of this class it is not clear why they allow a taxi stand, we felt unsafe! Keep in mind that if you use an Uber, the driver will not be able to enter the hotel grounds or even the gate, you need to go higher up the road, only there you can get into the car, bypassing this mafia of taxi drivers."

"We decided to end our month-long trip to India at the Taj. The hotel appears to be from the early 2000s, but has been recently renovated. A wedding held on the hotel grounds was a surprising experience, especially the sound system being turned up at 6 a.m. Surely that would wake you up and deprive you of sleep? At the same time, the hotel staff did everything they could to minimize the impact of the rented event. The sense of genuine service, the desire to help, and to compensate for unmet expectations smoothed over the strange experience of someone else's wedding (and yet, happiness to the newlyweds). UPD: The breakfast was honest, 4+."
