"My wife and me stayed here for 2 nights from 3rd to 5th March celebrating our anniversary. The property is very well maintained with very clean and spacious rooms and the view from the Balcony was stunning. The staff are very courteous and helpful. In fact, we had a small incident regarding availability of the swimming pool during our stay but, the staff really went out of their way to over compensate our small bad experience with an overall amazing experience by truly pampering us and elevating our quality of stay. So. We didn't feel anything but joy at the end of it all. Last but not the very least. The food. It is simply mind blowing and honestly, we had not expected this quality of cuisine. Every thing that we tasted was out of this world. Of course. A special mention has to be made of the Head Chef - Sagheer. He is an amazing person and a super chef. When we wanted to taste some local flavors, he specially curated some unbelievable dishes for us. Chef - if you are reading this. Your "Mathanga Payasam" was and remains the best dessert we have had in ages. Overall, because of such high level of care taken by the Chef, the support staff and the people at the property, we returned home with only fond memories of Flora Misty. Yes. "Recently I had an opportunity to stay @Munkudil with my family. I can say, it was a great home stay. Staff’s hospitality is fantastic and fabulous. Reji chettan and Shalesh chettan took care like family. We were served delicious home cooked food throughout our stay. A very peaceful, quiet, relaxing, serene location with a riverside view. A home away from home right beside the Periyar river. "Watching the torrential downpour" from the balcony with a hot cup of tea is an unforgettable experience.
