Lankao Fucheng Jianguo Hotel
9.8 (1,038 reviews)

Lankao Fucheng Jianguo Hotel ★★★★

📍 About 140 meters north of Lanyang Lake, Yuhong Street, Lankao

"We stayed in Lankao for a night specifically to visit the Jiao Yulu Memorial Hall, and to our surprise, we had many pleasant surprises with both the food and accommodation. It really changed our perception of Lankao. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel we've stayed at during our self-driving trip in Henan. The environment is great, the rooms are very spacious, and the service is exceptionally good. The breakfast spread was also excellent. Highly recommend!"

Lankao Zhongzhou Huayue Hotel ★★★★★

📍 About 30 meters southwest of the intersection of Chaoyang Road and Qingyuan Road, Tongxiang Subdistrict, Lankao

"There was cigarette ash on the floor under the trash can in the bathroom, and in the sink as well. Many items in the room felt very plasticky, and the bathroom walls were covered with plastic panels. The welcoming staff were very friendly, but the front desk staff were extremely rude. They wouldn't even look at you while you were talking to them, and when you tried to see their name tag to complain, they wouldn't look up because they were looking down. There wasn't even a laundry room; they said it opened last August, and eight months later, they still haven't built one. They were incredibly arrogant, saying everything else was complete except the laundry room, and the front desk staff were very condescending. I don't know how they got a five-star rating; it's much worse than the nearby Fucheng Jianguo Hotel. I will definitely not stay at this hotel again when I'm on a business trip to Lankao."

Lankao Fucheng Jianguo Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel was relatively new, with a slight but not strong smell. The cleanliness was okay. But!!! My child was sleeping when a bedbug flew onto their face!!! It startled them so much they jumped up with a scream!!! The child had never seen one before and swatted it hard, making the room extremely smelly!!! It was already 1:39 AM. The child was frightened but wanted to sleep, so I dealt with it myself without contacting the front desk, just trying to calm them down. The next morning, I told the front desk and got two bottles of water, saying I'd get an internal discount next time. Next time?? What about this time?? Because I was just passing through and in a hurry to leave, I didn't say anything at the time, but now I'm really angry!!!"

Lankao Zhongzhou Huayue Hotel ★★★★★
"Right after parking, someone greeted us at the entrance. We were offered tea while checking in, and once that was done, a staff member escorted us to the elevator, explaining the restaurant's location. The room was a bit smaller than I expected but perfectly adequate. It would be even better if they replaced the bar soap with liquid hand soap. Breakfast was incredibly varied. The stay included complimentary access to the bathhouse, movie viewing, coffee, and the swimming and fitness facilities, which made for a great experience. It would be even better if they offered family rooms."

"The environment is clean, the service is in place, every time I come here, the room is fully equipped, I sleep very well, there is no smell, cheap discount, breakfast is also rich. The price/performance ratio is the best in the surrounding area. I really recommend everyone to come and experience it. There is also a special parking lot in front of the store."
