"The card reader no longer works. You have to guess that check-in is at the hotel next door, or look for the sign hidden under the stairs. The fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night, but no one comes to check what's happening. Luckily, it turns itself off after 5 minutes if it's a false alarm. Otherwise, the room is very clean and adequate for one night."

"Lovely hotel in the middle of Leon. Was able to park the car in their garage and had a very good welcome from the management. Help into the bedroom with luggage and also bought up tea to the room. Very helpful staff with information and very good breakfast in the morning. we could walk from the hotel to the Cathedral and various lovely restaurants in the old town."

"The star of our stay was the welcoming receptionist, who also did everything else! We had a choice of 3 rooms which he showed us and carried our luggage up to our chosen room. The hotel is in need of updating but good for the price paid. Breakfast was croissants and baguettes, good quality."

"We tried to check in the two rooms I had booked only to be told that only one room had been booked. The person behind the desk was not helpful. However we took the one room on offer which was small & stuffy with no A/C. We went to the next door hotel & secured another room. This hotel was friendly, helpful & cool. So we abandoned the Inn Design & moved in there as well. I would not recommend to anyone to stay in this establishment it was truly dreadful. We stayed in at least ten different hotels on our journey & this hotel was by far & away the worst."

"We love this Ibis. Easy to find from the A26. Great on site restaurant serving no nonsense food at a reasonable price. Rooms are a generous size and clean. Generally pleasant staff. Only gripe this visit - some basic items on the breakfast buffet had run out by 8:30. No baguettes, no croissants. The bacon and scrambled eggs were all gone. We asked the staff for replacements but they just said it had all gone and didn’t seem too concerned. We had ordered breakfast in advance and were very disappointed. Maybe some earlier clients had been very hungry? Or possibly some clients who had not paid for breakfast helped themselves?"

"Easy to find and convenient for the centre. The room was clean and nicely decorated. In all honesty it didn’t feel like a safe environment around the hotel but we cruelly had no problems at all. Wasn’t sure if there hotel was housing any immigrants as a food bank pulled up distributing food and water. Prob my wouldn’t return here."

"Lovely old hotel near the cathedrale. The owner was so nice, very welcoming and thoughtful. It is old and it could do with some tlc but I would stay here again. Its not ideal for families or anyone with mobility problems as it doesn't have a lift but we managed okay (onlt one flight of stairs) and it's clear when you book it you are staying in an old hotel which is part of its charm. Public parking just round the back if you don't make his onside garage in time. He charges 10 euro for parking if you do. Restaurant wasn't open when we were there so noting it's a small town with limited opening hours get there us time for dinner out! Options within a few minutes walk."
