"The hotel is in serious need of an update. It is certainly not up to modern 5*standards. The hallways are dark and dingy, right out of the 1980s. The rooms are clean but are equally outdated. The breakfast buffet tries to cater for every taste but doesn't really work. The staff are all very friendly and are the hotel's saving grace. "

"The bathrooms, faucets, and showers are in terrible condition. The beds, pillows, and towels are all garbage — they need to be thrown out. The hotel is in decline — the furniture in the common areas, as well as the carpets and wallpapers, are in awful condition. It’s a shame that a company celebrating 50 years of existence has a hotel like this. Personally, I don’t believe the low room rate is an excuse — then close it! Grecotel simply cannot afford to have a hotel in such condition."
