"My husband and I had a fabulous stay at the Hotel Arlberg for our first visit to Lech. The hotel is family run and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with excellent service. The half board program was delicious and very convenient, though we also had excellent meals on the terrace and at Stube. Location for skiing and walking around town could not be better and the hotel was extremely responsive to helping coordinate ski guides, transport to the hotel and area recommendations. We left the hotel with plans to come back again."

"Claudia and Rene are wonderful hosts and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. I cannot overstate their generosity of spirit and the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel . Die AlpenRose is very clean, the breakfast is ample and varied, the room and bathroom was spacious with a wonderful view of Omeshorn mountain and Lech and the sauna is excellent. The location is less than a 10 minute walk to the middle of Lech and in ski season the bus stop is 50 metres from the hotel. It is in a very quiet area which suited me fine. It is great value for money and I hope to return with family next time."

"The Sandhof Hotel in Lech Austria was recommended to us by some friends from the U.K. They said it was a lovely family hotel just outside the centre of Lech and it was! The hotel was in a great location within 5 minutes easy walk to the centre of the village. 2 minutes to the nearest gondola. All the lifts/gondolas are within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. As such the hotel is also close to all the many shops and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and the staff could not have been more welcoming, more of that later. We had a nice corner room which was fine for us and I understand there are bigger rooms but for the two of us the room was perfect. Our son and his wife had the room next door and although a touch smaller was also fine for two for a week. The rooms were well appointed with great bathrooms (shower) with great water pressure. Our rooms were cleaned everyday to a very high standard with fresh towels and replacement toiletries. The bed was made up of two large singles pushed together each with your own duvet and were very comfortable and warm. The room was well heated which could be controlled and there was a smart TV on the wall. It would appear most visitors to the hotel book half board but we only had B&B. However it was no problem booking dinner which we did twice. The evening meals we had were all very nice with great choices 3 mains to choose each night with 4 courses. Also the meals we had were great value for money, eating out in Lech is not cheap. Breakfast is a multi-faceted buffet with cheeses meats fruit breads waffles but also cooked meals were available scrabbled eggs, bacon sausages and a Chef on hand for anything else you might need. All was fresh and well presented. Coffee tea and many other drinks were available. Next to the restaurant was the bar which was very very comfortable, sometimes to comfortable! The bar is very well stocked with one of the best Wine Lists I have ever seen. The bar was run by the very happy and friendly Gabriel who runs the bar like clock work. Nothing was too much trouble for him he was so attentive, without being intrusive, always ensuring we were happy and watered. We had such a good time with him but to be fair all the staff at the Sandhof were great. Thank you Gabriel you made our visit all the better! The Sandhof is a very very nice hotel and worth every penny we spent. The biggest complement we can pay is it will be our 'go to' hotel next time we are in Lech."

A very nice sauna, steam room, and pool area with great, easy-to-use showers. The generous breakfast buffet is a delightful start to each day. Many thanks to the Walch family! I cannot recommend room 21 under the roof; only book rooms with a balcony!"

The food was truly incredible! Every meal felt like an experience. The four-course dinners were not only delicious but beautifully presented, with so much attention to detail in every dish. What really made the stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. Everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care deeply about creating a special experience for their guests. This place is something special, and we can’t wait to return."
Hotel Plattenhof
"First time in Lech and it was truly an experience, which will be hard to beat. Hotel Plattenhof was an amazing choice for us and the staff made our experience even better. The hotel is in a great central location of Lech, it offers a free ski shuttle every 20 mins to get you to the main lifts (only a 3 min ride or so) or you can ski directly from the back of the hotel. The booking process was smooth and the hotel responded to our queries and requests without delay. Upon arrival, the General Manager greeted us himself, and valet parked our car in the inside car park (this is at an additional cost). Our room was lovely, clean and spacious with an amazing view of the mountains and village from the balcony. We even had a mini bar with 6 soft drinks included free-of-charge per day, which which were refilled daily. We had booked the room on a half-board basis, which means we had breakfast and dinner included. As a nice surprise, we found out on arrival was that it also included an 'afternoon tea / snack' which was served in the bar area and included hot and cold snacks. The food in general was very good with a variety of options for everyone to choose from. Breakfast in particular was my favourite with each table receiving its own daily 'Hotel newspaper' with the weather forecast, a few interesting facts and the menu options for the same evening. Our waiters Lukas, Ondrej and Dominika truly made our stay exceptional. A big thank you also goes to the General Manager Othmar, who looked after us throughout our stay and made sure everything was just the way we had imagined. Overall, this was an excellent experience and we are already planning our stay for the next season! Big thank you to the whole team at Hotel Plattenhof :-)"

"Brand new hotel with beautiful rooms , i believe they first opened for business in Decembre 2025 . The hotel is a 5-10 min walk from town and nearest ski lift . The all day restaurant , Salon Lech, has a decent variety of choices but it does get redundant after couple of days so worth venturing out to the village to experience some nice choices . The hotel isn't ski in/out and their shuttle can get quite busy so either patience(they will pick you up eventually) or walk ."

"Our stay at Anthony's Alpin Hotel was one of the best ever! When we arrived we were surprised how large our room was (rm. 22). It had a separate bathroom which was huge! It's truly like an apartment (minus a kitchen) We were there for a week so we really appreciated that we weren't cramped up. And the spa is fabulous! Steam room, dry sauna, infrared sauna and the most amazing massage chair. Plus there are 3 relaxing waterbed loungers (hard to describe) Luckily since we were there after the time change the days were long and we had time for happy hour and spa time before dinners. One thing to know is that although there's a beautiful breakfast area with breakfast included, there's not a restaurant. But there is a bar! Which leads me up to the best part. Rosie and Sabina gave us absolutely amazing service!!! When I saw the bar, I asked about it, and Rosie told me, yes, she can make me a drink! They offered and made dinner reservations, made us coffees in the morning and overall made us feel extremely welcome. I truly can't say enough great things about the service and hotel!"

"Hotel Ulli is a fabulously well run hotel in the perfect location in Zurs, between St Anton and Lech. Lukas Müller and his team are doing a brilliant job in making guests feel at home in the uber comfortable hotel. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, with lovely views on the mountain. The facilities are excellent, from the lounge and bar area, to the spa and sauna areas. The ski room is large and well organised with direct access to the lifts and slopes. The restaurant is serving the best food we’ve enjoyed in Austria, great variety and seriously delicious. The chef and his team are really superb. We look forward to returning next year!"

"We felt very comfortable in this family-run hotel. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent and perfectly prepared. The breakfast buffet was more extensive than in most other hotels. The afternoon cake was always freshly prepared and delicious. The service staff was very friendly and always attentive to our needs, especially the hotel owner and his wife. The ski lifts and the town center of Lech are just a few minutes' walk away. If you don't want to carry your ski equipment every day (depending on the snow conditions), you can rent a ski and boot storage room at one of the lifts. The hotel is located on the edge of town and is in a very quiet location. In short, we would love to come back!"

"Wonderful family hotel in Lech. Very centrally located with beautifully renovated bedrooms, kind staff and a good wellness area with sauna and steam baths. The bathroom we had, had both a walk in shower as well as a bath. A sleeping sofa, the room was spacious, unfortunately without a balcony, but there are plenty of rooms with balcony."

The hotel is family run and Ms Patricia ensured we were very well looked after, she even arranged my ski pass. Everything was perfect ....Thank you"

"This is an extremely well run, comfortable apartment building. The owner, Marion, answered all of our requests prior to our stay, including booking local restaurants and picking us up from the Arlberg Bus stop in town when we arrived. The apartment itself is newly renovated, immaculately clean and well stocked and the beds are super comfy. Even the sofa bed had an extra mattress topper so that our twenty year old son had nothing to complain about. Parking for one car is provided in the local car park a five minute walk away and we could easily ski to the Schlosskopfe lift from the accommodation at the start of the day. Although located a five minute walk from the centre of town, we found the apartment a peaceful retreat but still within easy reach of local restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again."
