"I did not plan where my day would end but this popped up at just the right time. It's a clean and comfortable family-owned and operated motel and those always put a smile on my face. There are flowerboxes in front of the rooms and I consider that a sign that somebody cares about the place."

"This was a sweet trip back in history. They only have three rooms renovated so far so it certainly wasnt crowded. The building is a historic inn and old, so dont stay here if you like sterile chain hotels. Stay here if you like history, high ceilings, uneven plaster walls and 1900's ambience. The room was clean, the bed big and comfy, our room had a small kitchenette. There's a great antique store next door, if I hadnt been flying home I would have bought a lot more! We loved this place."

"After a harrowingly bad night at a motel nearby, we found this charming place. It's very country, decor wise and small. Don't expect a lot of amenities. It's not meant for, or in that class of stay. If you want a cheap $-wise, CLEAN place for two or three, this place is all that. Sheets were fresh, CLEAN,. Showers and bathroom is small, but CLEAN. Full fridge, microwave, coffee pot, TV, open closet, QUIET. Perfect for a stay. The owner could not have been nicer. Polite, accommodating ( we needed to shower after a horrible night at a nearby motel) and he was willing to let us check in at 9AM! Thank you sir! I will return here on my next trip"

"The only reason I am not rating our visit as excellent is that being in the front corner room, there are a lot of windows therefore, a lot of street light coming in, we didn’t mind the street noise, we expected that having chosen the one room with a small kitchen, located in the front corner, however, some black out curtains would be helpful to block out the light coming in from the street. Also, the window above the door lets in a lot of the hallway lighting. Unsure how you could rectify that, other than maybe more lamps utilized at night vs ceiling lighting in the hall, installing a small curtain to cover that window or just covering it permanently, there is plenty of natural light coming in. In our opinion, it was just too bright in there for sleeping, maybe others wouldn’t be bothered by that. Some Kleenex on the nightstands, paper towel, and a kitchen towel would also be nice. With all of that said, the room was obviously old which we were fine with, they’ve done a really good job fixing up the rooms, ours was really cute and the bed was really comfortable. And they leave you some snacks and coffee…..we were in Room 1. Highly recommended !!"
