"Mantenga Lodge offers very good service at a good price. Located near the Mantenga nature reserve and the Gables Shopping Centre in a lush garden dominated by indigenous tree species it stands out by the quality of its hospitality and service. It is the only place in the region I've stayed at that offers heated plates at the breakfast buffet. Truely an important detail in the Swazi winter when otherwise your scrambled egg and sausages are cold before you get a chance to eat them! The restaurant offers excellent options for carnivores and vegetarians, another rarity among eateries in the region. Staff is kind and caring and does everything to makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!"

"Made a lunch reservation and arrived 30 minutes late, but the restaurant was empty so we didn’t inconvenience anyone. We were warmly welcomed by our waitress Penelope, who was professional and pleasant. However, another waiter (the one I spoke to on the phone) came to our table and began reprimanding us for being late, going on about their shift change. This was completely unprovoked and unnecessary, especially given that the restaurant was empty. His approach was confrontational and unprofessional, and it made the experience very uncomfortable. While Penelope’s service was great, the overall experience was disappointing because of this interaction."
