"Lovely family owned Inn. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very nice, gorgeous outside area by the Loboc lake, the swimming pool was lovely a fresh. I enjoyed a complimentary, traditional Longsilog breakfast, which was delicious, coffee and fruit to accompany. I also ate dinner there both evenings and was nor disappointed. I chose the smaller room, double bed, shelves and private bathroom, it was small just right for me, the bathroom was small but functional, with good shower pressure, unfortunately the power went one night, meaning the air con cut out, but the second night was not issue. The WiFi also dropped out a few times unfortunately, but I downloaded some things at the reception and it's no issue if you like to disconnect. The value for money was excellent, I rented a scooter for the day, they offered tours for lots of local attractions too. They offered free refills of water and complimentary shampoo and soap. The location was great. I'd definitely recommend. "

"Everything about this place was perfect. Firstly, we booked this very last minute for 2 of us to stay at the Water to Forest Eco lodge, for our last night in Bohol and I’m so glad we did! The value for money was outstanding, we would have happily paid more. On first view, the staff member that shown us to our room was really lovely, and when I say room, we stayed in a private treehouse – it was the best! It had no windows but enough privacy and was so clean. I was skeptical about bugs and the hotel explains that bugs are no stranger to this haven (considering it’s the closest to nature you can be without camping), but we had zero bug issues so please don't let that put you off. The mosquito net over the bed kept us bug free all night and we didn’t find any in our upper-level treehouse. It’s obvious that the staff put a lot of work into the upkeep. The surrounding gardens were breathtaking, and they had access onto the lake where you can paddle board or kayak. There was hammocks and a little swing, with the most stunning views in every corner. The Ecolodge staff were the best we’ve ever experienced in all our stays; they were so hardworking and lovely. You could tell that each one of them loved being there and really valued their guest experience. We managed to have a lovely chat to the owner, whom very kindly recommended us to hire mopeds (which again, the staff organised for us) and visit a few local attractions, we took her advice and ended up having the best day of our entire travelling month. We’re honestly so grateful and thankful we found this place; it’s given us memories we will never forget. I know I’ve said it before, but the tree houses are truly beautiful, you must experience this if you are in Bohol! Also, a huge shoutout again to the staff on the front desk, who also became our chef for the evening, the food was fresh and so tasty! We enjoyed an evening sitting at the floor level tables (see photo), having our tea in our comfies, I’ve never felt more at home. We wish we could have stayed longer, and should we have the opportunity to visit Bohol again, this is the first place we will go. Thank you so much to all of you who work there. x "

"Wow, our stay at this hotel was incredibly worth it! 😍 The rooms were clean, the staff were kind, and what we loved most — it's super close to the falls, so getting there wasn't tiring at all. "Definitely is perfectly worthy to this hotel’s price. Don’t expect first class comfort but still family tries to do their best. Very good bed and mattress. Breakfast not so abundant but still more than enough for a room’s price. Perfect location to watch fireflies, you won’t need more than 1 single night here. Still, these fireflies actually weren’t that exciting as supposed to be."

"This was our favourite place that we stayed in the Philippines! So many good things... The staff were so helpful, booking taxis for us and storing our bags while we went out to the tarsier sanctuary after checking out. The food at the restaurant was absolultely wonderful, we had the best dinners and breakfasts (the coconut souffle pancakes were the best breakfast I've had in a long time). Being able to book activities on the river through the front desk made life really easy too. The rooms were really well laid out, we had a first floor room with natural ventilation through the top of the room (with insect mesh) which meant the room stayed cool, and the balcony over the rice paddy was a beautiful view. "

"We are the Big Femyli, on this special occasion—my wife, my two children, my 2-year-old granddaughter, and two friends—for a total of 9 people, we're staying at this hotel for two nights. It's a beautiful place, and we have the option to eat there, so we jump at the chance. But then the "buts" begin. Yes, but you have to tell us right away what you're eating. Fine, give us the menu, and of course, it's written in Filipino, the site is in very small print, the tradition being in English. Okay, fine, after the various games without borders to get to the island, we don't feel like arguing. Each person chooses, and we agree to eat at 8:30 pm. We eat, and after 10 days, we manage to find sparkling water in a can, delicious, only two cans. They bring it to the table, and we have to say it went well, and we want to try again the next evening. After being out and about all day, when we get back, they ask us for the menu for the evening, and we promptly tell them everything and go to the shower. At the best moment, the first message from the group arrives: there are no more fries, there's no bacon for the eggs, there were still a couple of things we bought. Big question, but if you're in the center of town, why don't you send some random guy to buy them? What a fool you'll look like. Everything was supposed to revolve around fries, and instead... in my room, Room 1, the air conditioning works until midnight, after which it's scorching hot. A very appreciated thing is the nighttime trip on the river to see a tree full of fireflies, they almost looked like Christmas lights. Amazing."
