"This place offers a clean room and a swimming pool outside. The dive center and restaurant offers good service and we were able to see the thresher sharks. Beautiful time underwater and a great atmosphere at the resort grounds. Would recommend to all travellers."
"The youth hostel on Mama Island looks like this. I didn’t expect it to be like an illegally constructed wooden room. The room is small. The four-person dormitory has only two bunk beds. The room has window-style old air conditioners and fans, no cabinets and no toilets. There is no hot water in the public bathroom, and the infrastructure is not in good condition, so the price is not cheap! The service attitude is very good. I can’t sleep because of the smell of glass glue in the room, so I changed to a single room with a price of 800P (I did not charge me any more, but I booked an island hopping tour at his house the next day). The single room is ok . I don’t know why this company gets a high score, maybe because the service attitude is particularly good? It may also be that the foreigners don't care about the conditions and the open-air walkway full of sand! In fact, it is the most cost-effective to come to Momma Island to check and find a room. On the second night, I found a single room with a fan of 600P in another house. The online booking price is higher than the on-site booking (bargain)."
"Hotel is only 3 room, on the 1st floor of a cafe with excellent ice cream and coffee. Everything is thought, perfectly clean, convenient. But the signs are not, so find hard. The search description is difficult, easier to find by the name of the cafe PikaPika. The windows we had not come to the garden but on the road, so noisy from morning to evening from the road. Plus next to the bar with live music until 12 nights. Breakfasts are delicious and you can choose different options. Excluding noise, I will give 10 stars!"
"An otherwise pleasant stay ruined by somewhat incompetent communication surrounding a private transfer booked through the hotel. For those booking a private transfer through the hotel it’s worth knowing the following:
1) this is a third party arrangement and as such whether it is “private” or not is at the discretion of the third party
2) In the event that a transfer is not private, the hotel does not appear to need or feel it necessary to inform you.
This situation happened to me when leaving the island, having checked out early and being informed by reception which was my boat, I departed the island on said boat only to be made to turn around 90% into the journey as there was supposed to be another passenger. The hotel simply said this was the third party decision and whilst they were aware of it on the day, had not informed me (resulting in me traversing the stretch of water multiple times). All in all this was the cherry on an otherwise miscommunication-strewed cake (they never mentioned the private transfer had to be paid in cash, and they miscommunicated breakfast would start at 6:30 when in reality it is 7:30). On the plus side, the location is good for dive shops and the food was nice. However, I wouldn’t personally recommend this place to family or friends."
"The location is very good, come from Ma Island, directly to the hotel entrance, chartered boat is about 2000-2500p, sometimes ferry boat is needed, I booked the largest room in the hotel, comfortable, looking at the sea, pool view room is small A little bit, the standard room is smaller, except that the water for bathing is a bit small, others are okay. The fish brothers are downstairs. Our diving class is practiced in the hotel pool, which is very convenient. After staying for four days in a row, early morning meals are sometimes self-help, sometimes by portion, okay, average, but on Ma Island, this home should be relatively large. For snorkeling in the sea, you can have a round island, and go to that man's island, you can find a local person to book, the price is very cheap!"
