"Decent sized room with spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed with ok linens. But room rather worn around the edges amd layout not thoughtful. Towels were not new and seemed quite worn. Stains we assume from laundry facilities. Limited view of the sea from the front balcony and some disturbance from staff walking by, not very private unless you kept the curtains fully closed. Disappointing tea/coffee selection Early bird packed breakfast was fine tasty sandwich, fruit, snack and water. We managed the sit down breakfast one day but on our final day a buffet was all that was offered. Our group had to line up at the kitchen door for eggs and proper coffee. Such a shame as we had missed a proper sit down breakfast during days we were diving. Totally ruined the stay. Bar was nice. Good cocktails at 350php we expected nothing less! Staff friendly amd team helpful with luggage."

"Although I recommend this place, it comes with a few caveats. First, the owner happened to be there and he did a big reno on the bar/restaurant while we were there. It didn't cause any undue disruption, and it certainly improved the place greatly, but it was pretty terrible before that. Only ate a couple meals here and they were fine - not expensive and not memorable for being either good or bad. They do a BBQ on the beach each night, which is nice. The hotel itself is hopefully next on the owners to-do list. I understand there was a lot of damage from a typhoon a few years back and it's been costly to claw their way back so I don't want to be too critical. But the rooms in the back of the hotel behind the big pool and dive shop were not attractive at all. Fortunately, we took over two of the nicest rooms (Gato and Summer Seeker). Summer Seeker looks out over the beach and Gato has a nice balcony that affords a partially obstructed view. They are roomy and the bathrooms are fine although water pressure is not great. My other pet peeve with this place is that it has a split personality online. I actually booked one room on ******* and a second room on ***********, thinking they were SEPARATE HOTELS! The names and pictures on both sites were different, so I thought they were two different resorts next door to each other. The night we checked in (Christmas Eve... looking for a room at the inn!!) I couldn't find the second hotel so I went back to reception and showed them the booking to ask where the hotel was.... they told me my room was ready! Craziest thing... Hard to know where you are when so many resorts have names constructed from the same jumble of words: Malapascua, Thresher, Resort, Beach, Dive... they all sound the same."

"had an amazing stay here, there’s a bidet!!!! a huge plus for me lol, toilet is rly clean and the room is clean. only downside is that they don’t provide an actual blanket, only an extra mattress sheet as an alternative. would definitely stay here again."

"For Malapascua, this place might be considered clean. After all, this is the Philippines, and Malapascua is an undeveloped island. Let's just say the island is very rustic and原始, so the hotel is understandably basic. The room was very damp, but the staff were enthusiastic. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low, and it was filtered seawater, so don't expect to get completely clean."

"Stayed 4 nights with great and some of the most friendly staff you'll meet. Was invited to join them for dinner one night over New Years and had a great time. Accommodation is clean with a very good location right next to the street stalls and still central to town. Bathroom is basic but adequate for the stay. "
