Was an easy drive to Lower Hutt Hospital but also there was nearby busses which took you right outside the hospital. Loved the parrot - Pickles!!"

We stayed in the Super King studio, the room was contemporary, clean and tidy. The photos on their website do reflect the level of accomodation and we will choose to stay at Ava Lodge again if we're down in Wellington. Highly recommended! "

"We stayed 5 nights in a Studio with 1x dble bed and 1x single bed. Comfortable mattresses, smart TV, air conditioning unit, table and chairs, comfortable leather couch. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hobbs, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker. We ate out (local and nearby) so didn't need the kitchen, but if we returned for a longer stay we would use it. Our Host was helpful and obliging. Delivered slippers to our room, generous with milk and restaurant recommendations. We found Unit 4 to be quiet and near our car park. We will stay here again. It's clean and towels are changed daily. Good value for money."

"A very, very good accommodation experience, first-class environment, really New Zealand. We had a small episode on the day of accommodation. Because of the cruise ship, we could not arrive until midnight. We could only contact the hotel to help arrange the room. When we arrived, the lights in the room were on, so we found our room at a glance, and the air conditioner in the room was turned on in advance. It was really thoughtful and touching. I decided that I would stay here whenever I go to Wellington in the future, and I would not choose any other place."
