"My husband and I just spent 3 excellent days here. In our travel around Ecuador, this stay was so peaceful and grounding for us. They arranged to pick us up in Quito and brought us back to the Hacienda for a very reasonable cost. We were in the "Cotopaxi" room and loved the views from 2 huge windows along with the cozy fireplace. We ate every meal in the dining room and all were excellent. The staff (Abigail) was incredibly kind and quick to help with anything. One of the staff, Armando, took us on a 3-hour horseback ride up into the park. It was beautiful and adventurous. Another day, a different staffer (Franklin) took us up on the mountain. We hiked up to the Rifugio and then continued up to the glacier line. He was very attentive and kept checking on our well-being. He then took us on a walk around a lake at the base of another nearby mountain. Franklin was easy, informative and great to be around. Turns out our driver, Pablo, was also the owner and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with him on our early drive back to Quito. He is an experienced mountaineer and all around very interesting yet humble person (picture the Dos Equis "I don't always drink beer" guy from the commercials). All this to say, we had a great stay at this Hacienda due to the incredible staff and the level of kind service we received. You would be hard pressed to find a more picturesque, relaxing and peaceful place to stay. 10/10."

"Clean rooms with comfortable beds, tv with netflix and clean bathroom with hot water. The breakfast was great and the staff is absolutely lovely. The view from my bedroom window was absolutely stunning and I would definitely go back there again."

"Good location very near the National Park . Lovely views of the volcano . Lodge is clean and nice sitting area . The manager when we stayed was not that friendly . The room was ok - but the bathroom was cold and v damp - couldn't get any towels dry and very weak shower . Not good on an active holiday . The food was in our opinion dreadful . My husband was very ill on our 2nd night after eating badly cooked chicken . The staff did not want to take responsibility that it was because of the food and were not v helpful at all . We came back to Quito a day early as we were not able to complete the excursions we had planned due to what had happened . Very limited options of places to stay here but this place should be much much better ."

"Main asset of this lodge is its location, inside Cotopaxi Park and with full view from everywhere in the lodge on the volcano. Walking, horse riding and trips by car can be organised. Food is quite good, as well as internet connection (latter not available in Park)."

"Stayed with friends and had a great time. Aracely was a lovely host making us feel most welcome. She provided dinner and breakfast, both of which we really enjoyed. She had lots of local knowledge which we found helpful. Excellent rooms and, even though it was very cold having arrived from Quito, we were really warm in bed and slept well. A really great location, just a couple of minutes off the main highway - so easy to reach from Quito and also easy to get to Cotopaxi National Park. "
