T Story Maekampong
"Excellent in every aspect: the ambiance, the room, the restaurant, and the staff. Such a shame I had to move on to another place; otherwise, I would have stayed at least two nights."
woo ma ca moo
"Awesome stay."
Himdoihome Maekampong
"Staffs and everything were great! Just the admin don't really respond through phone nor calls nor even replies. Other than that everything is great."
Portare.home Mae Kampong
"A beautiful hidden retreat in Mae Kampong. The mountain views from the balcony were breathtaking, and the room was cozy yet stylish with warm wooden touches. The freestanding bathtub overlooking greenery was such a highlight — pure relaxation. Perfect escape from the city. Peaceful, comfortable, and highly recommended 🌿"
The River Maekampong Chiang Mai
"The experience was perfect from the first contact! The hosts are amazingly helpful, with great communication. They couldn’t have done more for us - big thank you! They even decorated our room with thousands of petals (we were celebrating our honeymoon) and it was so beautiful. The location is wonderful; close to Maekampong village, but quietly nestled in the trees around the beautiful river. Easy to get to from Chiang Mai. The accommodation was great. Very comfortable - tents with smart tvs, private bathrooms (with an exterior tub), terraces with a big table and sun loungers! It was perfect. The biggest thing was really how wonderful the host was. They helped us organise anything and were so kind and welcoming. I would be very happy to come back and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
Baanmaipai Tiamta Maekampong
"The accommodation matched the description perfectly, and the atmosphere was lovely 🍃. They offer a simple yet delicious breakfast 🍲. It's not too far from Mae Kampong village, and it's easily accessible by car or motorcycle 🛵🚗. At night, there might be some insects, but it's not a big deal, just typical for a natural setting. Once you turn off the lights, you can sleep soundly. It was very comfortable. The weather was cool, and one fan was more than enough 🌿."
Taryn Tara Cafe and Stay
"The accommodation is beautiful and the atmosphere is good. However, when comparing the price with the value for money, it is quite expensive. Drinks such as plain water should be more. They give too little water. If you ask for more, you have to pay. But overall, it is not bad. However, it is not worth it when compared to the price of the room and the convenience. The hot water heater is not warm because the weather is cold, but the water is not hot at all."
Tharnthong Lodge
"GORGEOUS!!!! Mountain lodging in a natural, calm environment. Private cabins, gorgeous setting. Great food and wonderful staff. Such a respite from the bustle of Bangkok. Must stay in Northern Thailand!!!"
La Lanna Resort
"The ultimate nature escape at La Lanna (June 7-10) ⛰️🌲 A Perfect Nature Retreat. I recently stayed at La Lanna from June 7-10, and it was an unforgettable experience. The property is nestled right in the heart of lush forests and valleys, making the atmosphere incredibly serene and close to nature. It is the perfect destination for a true relaxation. A quick tip for future travelers: there is no mobile phone signal here, which actually helps you unplug. However, they provide excellent, high-speed Wi-Fi, so you can still stay connected if needed. What made our stay even more special was the hospitality. Every single staff member was attentive, polite, and took wonderful care of us. The food was also fantastic! I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone wanting to recharge their batteries. #KH #CryptoisaDuck #WingFinPaw"

The Oriental Village Resort
"This bungalow-style accommodation had a lovely Oriental atmosphere, surrounded by tobacco fields and a beautiful garden. The owner was very kind; I left something behind, and they mailed it to me. I would love to stay here again."
IngDoi MaeKamPong
"Visiting Mae Kampong Village was a wonderful and relaxing experience surrounded by mountains and nature. The village has a peaceful atmosphere with cool fresh air, small wooden houses, charming cafés, and beautiful streams flowing through the area. Walking around the village felt calm and refreshing, making it the perfect place to escape from busy city life. The scenery was especially beautiful in the morning when the mist covered the mountains. It is an ideal destination for travelers who love nature, local culture, and slow living. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. 🌿"
Monraumsuk home stay Chiang Mai
"The cleanliness is terrible, not at all. The breakfast was very disappointing. It might not be worth the price. One person got a pan-fried egg and one person got rice porridge. Nothing else."
Lannawild Resort
"The greenery primitive environment is insta-worthy. There are, however, some downsides from practical point of view. The location is up the mountain and 1.5hr drive from main city of Chiangmai. It is long journey and many S-bend, up and down hill drives. Just standby your medicine if you have motion sickness. It's super nice view away from bustling city, but being in nature you got to be willing to coexist with other animals and insects around, i.e., cats, tiny bugs and mosquitoes."
Inthada at Mae Kampong
"The room decoration was nice, and the location was also beautiful. However, there was no trash can in the room (only in the bathroom), and no tissues were provided for guests."
furusato matcha cafe & ryokan
"The ryokan is incredibly authentic, and it feels like you're transported to Japan in a flash. For the price, it would have been even more worthwhile if it had an open-air bathtub. The hotel lacks recreational facilities, so it's fine for someone who just wants to stay."
Baan Ing Dao Maekampong Chiang Mai
"Good service, nice atmosphere."
Baanblue - Borderless
Morning star glamping
"Great"
My Cottage Chiangmai
"Staying at the duplex here is super chill. The house is clean, a lot of space and bathroom is very convenient since they do wet and dry bathroom in the duplex. Parking is free at the parking they provided. The stream in front of the house is full of flow energy which that flowing sound makes my mind stay so calm. Worth the money and worth the driving."
Mii Paa Aii
"Very nice place and views are so worth it. Everything we needed were there. Hosts were also very helpful and showed us around the village."
