woo ma ca moo
"Best stay I have had. Accomodation was beautiful and exactly like the photos. The room, toilet, outdoor space were all very clean and the water pressure was amazing. Staff were very friendly and food was good too. No complaints at all and would highly recommend. Just that the only downside is if you would like to visit Mae Kampong, it is a bit of a walk without a car but you can arrange a ride with the hotel for a fee if needed or hop on one of those pick up trucks that pass by."
Taryn Tara Cafe and Stay
"The accommodation is beautiful and the atmosphere is good. However, when comparing the price with the value for money, it is quite expensive. Drinks such as plain water should be more. They give too little water. If you ask for more, you have to pay. But overall, it is not bad. However, it is not worth it when compared to the price of the room and the convenience. The hot water heater is not warm because the weather is cold, but the water is not hot at all."
La Lanna Resort
"Excellent service and friendly staff makes the stay extremely warmed! Keep up to good service."
T Story Maekampong
"Beautiful hotel with stunning views about an hour from Chiang Mai. Perfect place to relax in nature. Breakfast was good with several choices. There were quite a lot of insects because of the natural environment, but the room was clean and insect spray was provided."
The River Maekampong Chiang Mai
"The tent was amazing! It’s located right in front of a river, and the sound of the water has the same relaxing effect as ASMR. The host was very kind! I wish I could come back soon. Greetings from Uruguay."
Lannawild Resort
"Nice to stay and do nothing. Don’t worry spect too much, but it’s great if you need a break"
Inthada at Mae Kampong
"Location very nice have water fall just next to it Room abit basic but staff are very friendly and helpful"

Nelamit
""Our Stay at Nelamit" "We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Nelamit. The room with its stunning view was a highlight, and the warm temperature provided by the heater was much appreciated. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. While we thoroughly enjoyed our time, we did notice some minor areas for improvement. The dome could benefit from a deeper clean to address some minor fungal growth. Additionally, we believe the room rate should include complimentary soap for the bathtub, which would enhance the overall guest experience. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the owner for maintaining such a lovely property and for the dedication of their staff, particularly during both peak and off-season periods. We hope these suggestions will be considered for future guests.""
Portare.home Mae Kampong
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment. Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy. The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature. The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views. The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special. In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day. The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong."
Baanmaipai Tiamta Maekampong

Baan Ing Dao Maekampong Chiang Mai
"Good service, nice atmosphere."
Chaiyapol Homestay
"We had a pleasant stay at Chaiyapol Homestay, and were met with friendly, welcoming staff who made us feel at home from the start. The room was spacious, clean, and had a rustic charm, which gave the place a homely feel. However, the beds were very firm, and the walls were incredibly thin, you can hear just about everything from neighbouring rooms, so light sleepers may want to look elsewhere. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of town, making it easy to explore the area on foot. One of the biggest drawbacks was the hot water and water pressure. While the hotel does state that hot water isn’t available 24/7, it was barely available in the mornings, and even when it was, the water pressure was extremely low, making showers more of a trickle than a rinse. Breakfast was also disappointing, with very limited variety and no replenishment, so if you weren’t down early, you didn’t get much. Overall, it’s a nice local stay with a warm atmosphere and central location, but there are comfort and amenity issues to be aware of before booking."
Himdoihome Maekampong
"Probably has one of the best views in the area, room is clean and looks like recently renovated, they are still renovating some of the other tents and the workers start early around 8am and made a lot of noise sawing hammering etc on both days of our stay"
furusato matcha cafe & ryokan
"The ryokan is incredibly authentic, and it feels like you're transported to Japan in a flash. For the price, it would have been even more worthwhile if it had an open-air bathtub. The hotel lacks recreational facilities, so it's fine for someone who just wants to stay."
Sippa Hotspring
"My family and I stayed at this hotel for three days. It's a cozy hotel perfect for relaxation. Peaceful, quiet, and the grounds are cozy. The hot springs are a special treat. The cabin was clean, but I'd give it a minus for the terrace, which wasn't cleaned. Robes and towels were changed daily. Water was replenished daily. The only thing is, if you're traveling with children, think twice. They might get bored. There's nothing else on the hotel grounds except the hot springs. Breakfast was the same every day, but delicious. Since the hostess is a vegetarian, there are no meat dishes on the menu."
My Cottage Chiangmai
"Excellent service and the duplex is more than we expected. The room is situated at the heart of greenery. I could not have asked for anything more."
The Lai Tiny House at Mae Kampong
"The access to the villa was covered by soil and mud. Its slippery. The room's entrance door is using glass door which can see the entire room which I dont feel comfortable. Theres no curtain or shades to cover it. Theres also a cockroach in the room."
Mii Paa Aii
"Very nice place and views are so worth it. Everything we needed were there. Hosts were also very helpful and showed us around the village."
Pine Village
"The property is just in the middle of nowhere!! We came in at night and it was a very secluded spot. There was no dinner service available....the house is a three bedroom with a tiny pool and 2 bathrooms. The living room is spacious, there is a pantry , but no microwave or cooking utensils. The house itself was very comfortable and the bed was great. But, seeing the word village, one would expect a few more houses. It is so secluded....if you love privacy then you will enjoy it. Bfk, was very basic too and even the toaster provided was not working. For the price we paid, there should be more amenities and service."
