Situated a five minute walk from the train station for a direct train to Sao Bento in Porto. Gorgeously renovated farm house made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!"

"Something they don't tell you when you book is that you have to pay €2 per person for city tax, which they charge you as soon as you arrive at the hotel. That's really bad. Otherwise, the service was very good, the room was very clean, but unfortunately, there's only one phone charging socket in the whole room, and it's very far from the bedside table. I didn't like the bed; I don't know if the mattresses are in the same condition in the other rooms, but they should replace them. It's clearly old; it's very uncomfortable to sleep on, and the pillows aren't very padded. Otherwise, the guy who helped us was very friendly, and the cleanliness was excellent."

"I imagined it to be a normal hotel in China, but it was actually better than expected. First of all, it is very close. You can see the airport when you leave the hotel. The reason why it is shown as a 7-minute walk is that you can't go straight there, but it is safer to walk towards your destination. Secondly, the front desk service is very good, and the hotel's exterior decoration is pretty good and clean. The room is of normal size, just right for a nap before catching an early flight. I didn't have breakfast because I caught an early flight, but the dining area looked quite clean."

"Beautifully restored family run farmhouse (circa 1750). Full of charm. Well located in quiet country surroundings approx 1/2 hr by car to Oporto center and 15 mins from airport. Onsite parking. Mr Marques the owner and staff very attentive and make you feel at home. We were going to a wedding and they allowed us to check in early so we could change into our suits etc. Large well appointed rooms overlooking small courtyard. Water pressure in shower superb. Very comfortable beds. Abundant home made breakfast included. Could not want for more. Hope to return next time in Oporto area."
