"Hotel right next to the highway, behind the gas station, probably fine for truckers or traveling workers, but that's about it. Very old-fashioned, smells awful. Probably due to a lack of maintenance of the air conditioning filters, or perhaps the dampness eating away at the base of the walls. In short, a nightmare."

"Good hotel very close to the airport with free shuttle bus service. We had a room on the ground floor near the bar and restaurant. Unfortunately this meant it was very noisy woken up by staff talking and whistling in the early morning as the bar opened around 3.30am to accommodate airline crews staying in the hotel. The food in the restaurant was not worth the money and I would advise people to eat out, much cheaper."

"Great choice for early flights, as it takes about 5' to reach OPO by car. However, keep in mind that getting there by bus could be a bit hard at 4 AM (I used Bolt because I had a payment issue with Uber, so I spent 9 euros. Discount codes are advertised at OPO). Bus 602 takes you straight to the airport (50 stops more or less); the stop is 2' away from the hotel. There is also a nearby metro station: trains literally pass in front of your window, but they're never too noisy nor fast (and the service stops during night time). My room on ground floor had a terrace, so I had to keep the curtain pulled for some privacy. Luggage can be stored for free inside big lockers that are located in the basement, near the gym. Everyone was really kind and helpful, for example when my room key didn't work properly. The check-in procedure was quick, and checking-out was even faster as it took only few seconds. Recommended for 1-2 nights or if you have a car."

"Absolutely lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and comfortable bar and sitting rooms. We were greeted by the owner and treated royally with wine and bar snacks. Situated a five minute walk from the train station for a direct train to Sao Bento in Porto. Gorgeously renovated farm house made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!"
