"I have stayed at the Wellnest Hotel in Marousi on multiple occasions and will continue to do so in the future. It is conveniently located for all of my needs in terms of dining and shopping, being in close proximity to The Mall Athens (it's huge and has a great dining area) and various other restaurants and shops. As I have a car, I find that there is adequate street parking and the main thoroughfare (Kifisias Avenue) for traveling around the greater Athens area is easy to reach. The rooms are of a good size and impeccably clean (kudos to the outstanding housekeeping staff who are always quick to provide anything I request). I generally stay in one of the Junior Suites as all of them have a lovely terrace. The BEST aspect of this hotel is the friendly and helpful reception staff. I cannot praise them enough, especially Yolanda. Over the several years I have stayed at Wellnest Hotel, they have arranged haircut appointments, coordinated taxis when needed, made great restaurant recommendations and ALWAYS treat me as a friend and not just a client. I would be remiss if I did not mention Vanna, who is the excellent breakfast chef and a world class barista as well. These are my only negatives: some guests park all day and overnight in the loading/unloading zone in front of the hotel which makes it difficult for others to load and unload their things and staff does not address this problem; though the hotel is in a fairly quiet neighborhood, some guests with very early morning flights are inconsiderate in terms of noise; and, the breakfast (while well prepared) is overpriced at 15 euros for the limited offerings."

"Most of the hotel is a building site. The room was 27 degrees all night and the aircon didn't work windows didn't open more than a few inches. They did not have any fans. They did try to give me another room (also no aircon) but it smelt strongly of cigarettes. There was a very large hole in the ceiling of my room covered by a grill - slightly worrying. Walls are thin and you can hear others talking and TVs. You can't add items to the room - you have to pay upfront, even the hotel cost. Booked for 3 nights but would have left 10 mins after arrival the if it wasn't so late. Only after a huge fight with reception they refunded me for the 2 nights I hadn't stayed and 165 euro for the 1 night. This should be a cheap hotel aimed at young travellers on a budget - definitely not business guests. If you are moved here from the Civitel Olympic which has recently closed - steer clear!"
