"Our stay at Zanzibar Sunrise at Bandas was absolutely incredible. The food was among the best we’ve ever had; the chef must be a star chef! Each day, we were blown away by the delicious meals, especially since we had half-board and could order à la carte. The property itself is beautifully designed, creating a wonderful atmosphere that truly enhances the experience. At night, we could hear the sounds of the ocean, and our rooms were stunning, providing a perfect retreat. The yoga classes were a highlight of our stay, and the live music was truly impressive. However, what stood out the most were the incredibly attentive and dedicated staff members, who made our visit truly exceptional. I can highly recommend Zanzibar Sunrise at Bandas."

"We came to Zanzibar with a dive group and stayed four nights at Villa Kiva which has a premium beach resort feel and large, well-appointed rooms. The beach sand is among the nicest I've ever seen; super fine and nearly white, it feels incredible underfoot. The water in front of the hotel is very shallow with a very slight slope leading to huge tidal exposure, which affects the timing of boat traffic. We had to be picked up with a small skiff in the morning and then returned by taxi in the early afternoon from several kilometers north. The hotel restaurant is excellent with both an al a carte menu and typically a limited option multi-course daily menu. A good bar and wine selection as well as expresso coffee drinks are available."

The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, elegantly furnished, and equipped with everything you need. They're cleaned daily and additionally sprayed with mosquito and insect repellent in the evenings. There's a wonderful swimming pool and comfortable loungers – the area is covered with fine sand, making walking barefoot a pure pleasure."

"Absolutely fantastic holiday! The hotel is very nice, located right by the sea almost in the middle of the village of Matemwe. Very nice rooms, including a great outdoor shower! Thorough, careful and perfect cleaning twice a day. The hotel staff was very nice and everyone did everything they could to make us feel at home. I would like to highlight the following fantastic people: Sauli, Rakim, Charles, Atosha, Emmanuel & Rajab!!! The hotel has a very good pool and great sunbeds overlooking the ocean and reef. There is security at night, everything is absolutely safe, tidy and clean! The restaurant always perfectly prepared and ready to fulfill all your wishes. Nicely landscaped garden, air conditioning in the room fully functional, mosquito nets and mosquito sprays as a bonus. Breakfast simple but very delicious! Great coffee and fresh fruits! Free towels at the pool. Thank you for the unforgettable moments, for the beautiful farewell dinner and the endless football games of Aron and Rajab! We miss you!!"
