"One of the Top 10 most beautiful places in the world. Our tour guide, Valentine, was incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I hope to connect with him again. We have some incredible photos to share. I highly recommend him. We saw Rhino, Kudu, Baboons, A Black Mamba, Small Spotted Gennet, Bush Bock, Guinea Foul, and much more. He took us to see over 10,000 year old bushman carvings, he and taught us about plant life that is unique to that region of the world. Oh yes, don't forget to enjoy the majestic sunrise!"

"An all round very enjoyable experience in the Matopas Hills. We stayed 3 nights, arriving midday on our first day. Our room had a cathedral like quality, being created out of the rock formation. It was well appointed with both an inside and outside shower and a great external terrace with amazing views. The common catering and bar areas were thoughtfully designed, again being created out of the rock and cliff formation. There was also the pool which was both great for swimming in as well as lazing in the sun. The staff were generally very helpful. Otherwise we had an excellent guide in Kevin, who was both very personable and knowledgeable. As it was the beginning of the season we were the only people in our vehicle and particularly enjoyed the rhino tracking, rock paintings, visiting Worlds View and Rhodes grave as well as learning a great deal about the Park’s flora and fauna."

"Fantastic quiet retreat! We stayed her for a family reunion. Loved the beautiful rooms and the views of the bush, hills and the most spectacular sunsets. Food was great, staff took great care with allergies in our group. Exceptional service all around, but a special shout-out to our guide, Sandile. His expertise on traditional plant medicine and ceremonies made our game drive so much more than just a tour. It was deeply enriching. Nature lovers will adore the lizards, monkeys that you share the camp with, and the surroundings—just remember to bring bug spray! Loved the bird chorus throughout the day but especially early in the morning. A perfect, peaceful getaway."
