"This hotel is located in the historic Meishi Official Teahouse, and the exhibition of photography works makes it a very well-designed art space. Staying here also gives you the chance to visit and learn about its interesting background. The overall environment is clean and comfortable. The room is huge and the bathroom is super spacious! The bed is very wide and soft, the duvet thickness is just right, and the pillows are great for sleeping. They even provide classic ********* red and white slippers and eco-friendly towels, which I think are very unique and charming. I highly recommend staying here!"

Breakfast is a local specialty meal - Dingbian paste + fried dough sticks. I love their homemade fried dough sticks. There is no greasy feeling of traditional fried dough sticks. During our business trip, we just encountered climate instability factors, resulting in the smooth return of the scheduled date. Ban Niang is very intimate and will take the initiative to help ask about the ship class information. Really recommend, if you come to the east to attract tourism, you can come to Bei'ao Mystery Mountain Residence to stay; although not on the streets of the main city center, you can relax and enjoy the simple and quiet feeling."

"Have to give this place 10/10 because after dropping me off at the airport he found something left in my room and drove it back to the airport to give it to me! It’s only a 12 minute drive but still, really above and beyond service there! I also happened to be treated to quite the spectacle from my balcony of March 3 festivities at the temple next door. Having said that this is a one man operation and I had to get Trip customer support make it known I had arrived looking to check in. I think he needs to work something out with the hotel that has a front desk on the same floor so that they can check one in or at least call him on your behalf if you don’t have a Taiwan phone number."

"We happened to meet the designer couple when we checked in; they were very kind people, and I'm giving them three stars! The walls and floors of the room were very rough. My son rolled over in bed, and his hand scraped against the wall, leaving a scratch. A brand-new suitcase left on the floor got scratched just from opening it to get some clothes. The most annoying thing was that from the moment the air conditioning came on, the room was filled with a foul, sour smell—it was unbearable! The designer couple came to look, but couldn't find the cause; they brought an air purifier, but it was completely ineffective. We spent the entire afternoon and evening breathing this terrible air in the room. We finally checked out the next morning, and all the kids breathed a sigh of relief… Although the design and scenery were beautiful, the experience was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to families with young children, but those with children should think twice. I was terrified my child would inhale something they shouldn't have…"
