"My daughter and I spent a week in January. The hotel was clean, tidy, modern, friendly with excellent rooms. The location is good as it's close to 2 ski bus stops and the train station. We specifically asked for a room with multiple beds, which isn't always the case with an Austrian Twin, to accommodate our circumstances. Unlike other establishments we have visited Der Siegler respected the 'Do not disturb' request and had the forethought to provide extra towels and toilet rolls but left them outside the room. The host was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We would stay there again. We were on the 1st floor above the bar but we never heard any noise (other than people returning to their room, which is to be expected)."

"The new building with the spa area is really beautiful... because it's very spacious, guests are spread out well, so it's pleasantly quiet everywhere... The food looks very good, but the taste is average. The service is really hit and miss. On the first day, a very friendly and attentive waitress, but on the second day, unfortunately, the complete opposite. The rooms are okay; the older part is quite dated, but clean."

"A very well appointed hotel , very well maintained and with a family committed to making sure you have a great time. Katerina was born to be a host and is so friendly and helpful, nothing is a problem. If you are skiing the bus and train station are within close walking distance. If you have not been to Mayrhofen, it's a beautiful alpine village made for a post card."

"While biking through Mayrhof Austria we got caught in the rain yet again and stopped at this restaurant for lunch. Had a dry area to put the bikes. Wonderful service from a friendly waiter who spoke good English. Very nice man. We all ate lunch and it was very good. Spent about two hours there eating and drinking wine and beer. The Austria beer is not to my taste but I tried it. Ordered wine later. The wine was very good. Two of us had ice cream deserts that were excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Our 4th visit to The Elisabeth & thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite arriving 3 hours late on our flight from Manchester (which unfortunately isn’t unusual), the hotel kept the restaurant open to provide us with dinner which was very much appreciated. Our room was once again in the new part of the hotel & was perfect. Enormous comfortable bed, massive balcony & huge bathroom & lounge area. Breakfast was first class with a huge choice of fresh fruit, cereal, nuts & seeds. Lots of cold cuts & cheeses & hot food including omelettes made to order. Dinner was also delicious with a choice of meat, fish & vegetarian main courses each evening. The quality & presentation was excellent. All the staff were wonderful & so efficient from the ladies who cleaned our room (usually while we were at breakfast) to everyone in the restaurant with a special mention for Juliana who ensured everyone was well looked after. Mayrhofen is one of our favourite Austrian resorts & we hope to return to this hotel again next year."

"Beautiful, cozy boutique hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. All of the staff were extremely helpful – nothing was ever too much trouble. The facilities were superb, especially the pool, spa and sauna area, which were a real godsend after a long day on the slopes! Our room was very spacious for two adults and a 16-year-old, with plenty of room and a large, stunning bathroom. It felt really lovely and cozy in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and dinner was amazing – beautifully presented with a good selection on the menu, most evenings we had 5 courses! The only small point I would mention is that the dining was perhaps a little too fine-dining oriented for teenagers. It might be nice to have a hearty, ski-style option once during the week, such as homemade pizza, German sausage or roast chicken with fries, or a simple salad. This is not a criticism, just a suggestion, we actually went out for dinner a couple of nights for this option, just broke up the week and a little change from a posh dinner. One minor issue was that tap water was not available at the evening dinner table, and bottled mineral water cost €8. This felt a bit disappointing, especially as guests are encouraged to drink the freshest tap water in the rooms. After a long day on the slopes everyone was very thirsty, and buying bottles each night would quickly add up to over €30. Instead, we filled our water bottles in the room and brought them down to dinner. All in all, we had a wonderful stay – Thank you very much ⛷️"

"Had a great stay. Our room was clean and spacious and turned over daily. The pool and spa on the roof is simply amazing after a days skiing. We were provided breakfast each morning which again was really lovely with a great variety of options. Great location and a round a 5 minute walk to the Penken lift. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. The staff were also friendly"

"Well located near the bus station, renovated and large terrace. The appartement was clean and the towels are regularly changed. We also enjoyed the sauna, and the warm welcome. Only remark is that the cutlery was limited for the 4 of us. We recommend the stay."

"New and very high quality apartments, good breakfast and comfy beds. Family owned and vey friendly staff. The location is good: only a few minutes walk from the ski lift and Mayhofen center. Supermarket is just down the road. We had half board included, which was in a nearby hotel, but it was not worth it. The food was mediocre, the drinks exceptionally expensive and the was not enough staff. Furthermore you come back with a smell of food in your clothes."

"This hotel has lots of reviews but not via the TUI link. It is called Pension Nordstern or Hotel Nordstern - Part of Heart Hotels. It used to be part of the Stauss. The image and description TUI show on their website is different to where we stayed and if we would have know this before we booked we would not have stayed. The room was OK, spacious and clean but the decor is tired and old fashioned. Our room was very hot but it is normal in Austria because most hotels have no A/C or fan even in 30 degrees, fortunately it cooled down a good few degrees. It was noisy a couple of nights and we were woken around 1.30am with noise in the street from people that had been drinking. WiFI, non existent.....it seems. Breakfast, the boiled eggs are good but the scrambled egg is UPF. Sometimes you had to ask staff for more of something because they had not replenished soon enough. All staff were friendly and helpful. TUI has not added the correct photos or description on their website. No, I would not stay again and would pay a little more for a better hotel if I was to visit again. I would also recommend getting a hotel that includes evening meals"

"Location was premium right next to the Penkenbahn ski lift. Great Vibe in Mayrhofen for Santa December. Martin is a fantastic engaging host always free to help and answer every question we had. Rooms were very adequate and clean the 5 of us had plenty of room to move. Great ski storage room and very quiet at night. Thanks Martin"
