"Air cond was very cold and the bed was very comfortable. We had a good rest in the hotel. Very good room maintenance and everything is in good order including TV channels broadcast. Only no good was no coffee and toilet paper provided. Basic soap and tissue paper were given. Room has no kettle and hot water."

"It’s a very basic budget hotel, rooms were ok but the pipes in toilet and sink were broken. Friendly lady who checked us in very easy. Wifi worked but quite low signal on our floor. Stay here only for sleep before taking a ferry next day. Cheap !"

"Finally I understand why so many people would rather take a five-hour car ride and then transfer to the boat to get to the island... Originally I thought that I would rest for one night before taking the boat if I didn't rush the trip, and I didn't have any requirements for the hotel since it was only one night. I was stunned when I entered. It was worse than the hotels in the villages in China... It must have not been cleaned for a long time... At night, there was a car passing by downstairs all night and several households didn't sleep. Then I looked around and found that all the hotels in this port were like this. Next time I really want to go to Tioman Island, I will just take the bus and boat..."

"First time staying for the night. Honestly value for money. Place was super clean, spacious and well maintained. Had a little trouble with the digital lock at first, called one of the personal and she was super helpful. To top it off, the place even has complimentary drinks & it has a mini in house first aid kit for your injuries. Honestly a super nice place, will return again in future if i need to stay a night in Mersing."

"I came with my 3 children, and we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. The floor in our room was dirty, the armchair was moldy, one hanger was broken, the toilet light was so dim, the flush doesn’t work well. The blanket, when it fell out of the duvet, showed lots of dirty moldy marks. The pillows were yellow and old. The mattresses were old and yellow too. The surrounding was not well kept, lots of dirty and moldy parts that were falling apart. The swimming pool drain cover were broken, it was very dangerous. The area where we wash off the sand from the beach, was completely full of algae and the water did not drain, so when we turn on the tap, it stirred up smells of urine. The food is not great. They were mostly cold and not fresh. Overall, this place is very badly maintained, even though the staff were nice and helpful, but the overall environment is uncomfortable. I hope that this hotel will do a major renovation and keep it nice and clean."

"I strongly recommend that Trip.Com do not post this hotel on your website! They do not deserve any business from Trip.Com's loyal customers. This is because the hotel management clearly do NOT take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of their premises, and they do NOT maintain their facilities at all! They call themselves a hotel, yet do NOT provide any toiletries! Their towels are absolutely disgusting! I would NOT want to go near this hotel again, I selected it because it's rated reasonably compared to surrounding hotels!"

"Don't be fooled by the pictures, although we only wanted to stay one night, we left the hotel straight away after our first impression. It's worth looking at more than just the price, although Mersing doesn't really have much to offer. Cockroaches, dead butterflies and dragonflies in the hallway and on the stairs."

"The hotel is quite secluded, so it might be uncomfortable without a car. But if you're looking for solitude, it's perfect. The room is good, and there's a pool and a beach. We stayed for one night and had a car. We just slept there and moved on. What we didn't like was that the rooms given were far apart. We were with children, and it was inconvenient for us. In the end, we all slept in one room, even though the website didn't offer that option during booking and said another room was needed."
