"Fabulous hotel, great area. Staff were super and Petros very helpful, kind and fun! 🤩 Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant staff so helpful! A shout out to Ioanna, who was so charming, knowledgeable, helpful and fun. And Popi who was also delightful. All were very cheery and proud of the hotel and region. We are once at lunchtime and also in the evening the food was excellent! Spa was lovely and massages with Evi great! Thank you, Grand Forest, we will be back! Yassas 🇬🇷😊"
Archontiko Metsovou Luxury Boutique Hotel
"Pros: The location is wonderful, offering an incredible view of the Pindus mountains. It is a beautiful hotel with traditional local decor and comfortable rooms. The hotel was spotless, and they changed our towels daily. Our room had a cozy seating area and a balcony where, weather permitting, you can enjoy your coffee overlooking the mountains. The room also featured a large jacuzzi which, if it had a bit more power, would easily make this a 5-star experience. The breakfast included quality local products, and Mr. Giorgos was extremely polite and helpful. Cons: The main downside was the lack of insect screens on the balcony door. Due to the rainy weather during our stay, flies were constantly getting inside, so we couldn’t keep the door open and had to rely only on one small window that had a screen. Additionally, the fact that the other windows do not open and lack screens is an issue; when you fill the jacuzzi, the humidity becomes too high for a bedroom. Also, the jacuzzi requires great care when draining; if it is not drained very slowly, it overflows and floods the room (as happened to us). There are no written instructions or signs anywhere in the room, so if you don't perfectly catch the verbal instructions given at check-in, an accident can easily happen. Lastly, regarding breakfast, given the price of the room, we would have preferred a buffet style rather than just 3 set items with no other choices available."

"Nice and clean Hotel. Great hospitality. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. Tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately we could stay for only one night but we definitely will come back! "

"One of the best hotels ever visited and will keep visiting. The location in the centre of town makes car superfluous. Traditional and tasteful, which is a rare combination. Luxurious but not pretentious. Staff and owners always there to provide services / help. Excellent breakfast. The room itself absolutely tastefully complete. everything in perfect order (as expected). Perfect view from the balcony."

"Metsovo is beyond beautiful in summer. Its mainly for skiing in winter but a fantastic place to go hiking or enyoing nature in summer. The Katogi is a wonderful place to stay, huge very clean and nicely decorated rooms, friendly people, nice restaurant and fantastic breakfast. Also its a bit out of the busy touristy city center. They have great wines as well. Whats not to like?"
