"I absolutely loved the hotel and the rooms; the food was the only downside for me, but everything else was great. The staff is incredible, and I especially want to highlight Nasser—he is an amazing entertainer, a truly good person, and very friendly. The evening entertainment especially the dance performances was super fun."

"The owners of the following establishment are also tour operators. We paid for two one-day Safaris (we have the electronic receipts). The safari for unclear reasons did not take place and the money was not returned to us. I’m writing this review to warn other people who want to use these 'tour operators'."

"A wonderful stay. The rooms are not luxury, but spacious and have everything you need including A/C, a small fridge and really good Shampoo, shower gel and Lotion. Room Service is good, the rooms are very clean. The location is rather quiet and remote. So ideal for people looking for a relaxing time and not the Party people. It is located directly at the White, powedery beach with a bit garden area with a large enough Pool. With just a fee room Bahati is absolutely lovely and the staff is absolutely amazing. The Restaurant is also really good. The Menu is very international, so not focussed on lokal Kitchen - but I tjink many guests prefer what is offered. The pizza is really good. We had the Malaysian Prawn Curry and the Butter Chicken and he chicken burger. Only the Fries could be improved. I loved breakfast. With freshly made mixed Juice and a good Selekction of breakfast options. So if you want some relaxeing days at a great location, I can only recommend Bahati. You get excellent value for Money and can really feel at home here."

"We liked the hotel; the staff was very polite and helped us with every question. The rooms are spacious and have everything we needed. The road to the beach is not very good, and there's a lot of trash, but that's typical of Zanzibar. We had a great time."

"The best ocean view with the best amenities"

"We stayed at Michami Sunset Bay for 8 nights on our honeymoon having done 8 nights on safari. There's so much to love about this hotel: the location directly on the beachfront, the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, the effort of the staff and decoration around the hotel is beautiful, incredible sunsets, and more. We especially loved the ability to borrow things like snorkels, paddleboards etc. for some fun activities. The hotel are also able to book activities for you, where we did a boat trip, snorkelling, and a sunset trip, but they have lots more to choose from. They also book all your taxis which is so helpful and avoids you needing cash for all your journeys. The hotel also has a great happy hour perfect for watching unforgettable sunsets. The food is delicious with an extensive lunch menu, great options for breakfast buffet, a long bar menu with lots of drinks, and three course meals each evening. We especially loved the Saturday night Swahili buffet to try some authentic food. The room was a great size with fresh towels each day, and everything was kept so clean. A lovely balcony too. Michamvi is much quieter, offering a more relaxing atmosphere. There are still a few lovely restaurants and bars, but a short taxi ride away. For more going on, the best place is Paje which is a 30-45 minute taxi journey. The only one real downside to the hotel is the road leading to it. Michamvi felt like an up-and-coming area, meaning some infastructure on main roads were under development, making journeys slightly longer. The bigger issue is the side road leading off the main road to get to the hotel. It's very pot-holey and not developed at all, meaning especially when it's rained that it's incredibly bumpy and uncomfortable to drive down and takes at least 10 minutes to get in and out as taxis have to drive so slowly. This affected us nearly every day as we went out the hotel almost each day and did have an impact as taxis were often late due to the issue which was very frustrating, and meant the start and end of each trip out the hotel was very bumpy and irritating. This is the only downside however, as the hotel is really wonderful, beautiful, so well looked after, and incredibly relaxing with great facilities."
