VilaFoia ★★★

"👌 I recommend it."

Monchique Resort & Spa ★★★★★

"Stay that I have to put in mediocre. The room is very good and the spa too. Otherwise the catering is not great and the exchange with the reception is detestable. I made a mistake in the date of my reservation (one week difference) and the hotel messed me around via the intermediary, by email and directly on site so as not to reimburse me. I have the impression of having been taken for a fool and even certain. Even if my reservation was not cancellable, being there a week before with a new reservation, having paid for a spa session and eaten at the restaurant, I would have expected a little more sales and at least not been taken for a fool by being messed around at the reception (Does not speak French and no longer understood my English...). Result, I lost 150€ and they a customer since I was supposed to come back for a week at the beginning of the year."

Casa Spa d'Alma ★★★★

"Casa Spa d’Alma was my base for a week, attending a retreat in the Algarve. A stunning location in the hills and beautiful accommodation to enjoy the luxury of peace and quiet. The cats, dogs and frogs in the natural pond all added to the ambience of this gem. We picked fruit for breakfasts and explored the hiking paths which surround the location, the perfect escape from reality. Clean comfortable, well equipped rooms and the warmest welcome, I can’t wait to return one day!"

Villa Termal Spa Hotel - Villa Termal Spa Resort - by Unlock Hotels ★★★

"The first thing is that I was robbed in the room, so don't leave anything of value when they clean the rooms. The service is very average. You arrive and they make you cross the hotel and the street to check in, carrying your suitcases. To top it all off, even if you booked a suite, you have to walk up two and a half floors. When you leave the room, make sure you don't forget anything because if you have to go back, you'll regret it. We arrived at 3 p.m. after a long car journey, and there was no way to get anything to eat, not even a lousy sandwich. I felt like leaving right then. If I had known what awaited me after the room was cleaned, I would have left, because what they stole was worth far more than my entire reservation. In short, an experience I'll forget from start to finish. And the spa... I apologize for calling an indoor pool a spa... because that's all it is. If this is typical Portuguese service, they could have kept it for themselves."
