"This hotel was absolutely terrible. We booked two standard rooms and arrived at 9 PM to check in, and that's when everything went downhill. First, the air conditioning in the first room was completely broken. The indoor temperature was at least 35 degrees Celsius, even hotter than the lobby. In 40-degree Sicily, it was impossible to sleep. Secondly, the bathroom in the second room smelled awful, and the odor filled the entire standard room. Given the situation, I spoke with the front desk staff, asking them to help us. The hotel sent a maintenance worker. They tried restarting the power in the first room, but it didn't work. In the second room, they poured toilet freshener down the drain, also to no avail. So, I went downstairs to talk to the front desk manager. We followed them down. I suggested changing to two different rooms, but the hotel claimed they had no available rooms for the night and that we could wait until tomorrow morning. However, it's impossible to rest in a 35-40 degree room. We insisted that they at least fix the air conditioning so we could stay, or switch our rooms. Next, the hotel provided us with a 50cm-tall portable air conditioner for the room, connected to the outside balcony. But to use this 'air conditioner,' the balcony door had to remain open, and the unit was incredibly noisy, making it impossible to sleep. I had no choice but to demand a room change. Then, the hotel manager said that a room change was not possible, and if we couldn't stay, we should just leave. Being in a foreign country and it being 10 PM, I still tried to negotiate with the hotel rather than just checking out immediately. I then asked the front desk if they could guarantee a room change for us in the morning. At this point, the front desk surprisingly changed their tune, saying they weren't sure and it depended on availability in the morning... My fellow countrymen, this completely contradicted their earlier promise of a room change in the morning. I was incredibly frustrated and angry, and was forced to leave the hotel. Before leaving, I specifically asked the front desk to confirm if I would receive a full refund, as the hotel's room quality was below acceptable standards and I could not stay. The male staff member at the front desk promised that yes, we would, but we would need to email the hotel. So, I left the hotel feeling reassured. I also promptly informed Trip.com customer service about the situation. In the following days, I learned from Trip.com customer service that the hotel refused to refund us for two nights... I was absolutely furious. Fortunately, we had taken photos and video evidence. In the end, thanks to Trip.com customer service manager Mr. Xu, we successfully received our refund. A big thank you to Mr. Xu from Trip.com. My fellow countrymen, Italy as a whole is a wonderful travel destination, and I will visit again. Isolated issues with individual hotels do not detract from Italy's charm, but please, for the love of all that is good, avoid this particular hotel at all costs."

"The location is stunning, just steps from the sea, and the rooms and service are top-notch. There's one major problem, though! Forget about sleeping. The walls in the rooms are so thin you can hear your neighbors talking. On the beach opposite, there's music, noise, shouting, and parties until 4 a.m. It's a shame. If you want to de-stress...and relax...this isn't the place, unless you enforce or respect the public order."

A must do is to hire a boat and take some time on the ocean and jump off boat. We also had a beautiful breakfast with all kinds of selections to eat."

"I loved the location and this B&B! It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Mondello beach but close enough to walk. The pool was fabulous and it’s a small B&B with not too many people. Very tranquil spot if you want to relax. This was a perfect spot to end my trip in Italy before my long flight back to America. Only downside is that there are not too many restaurants nearby."
