Manava Beach Resort & Spa Moorea ★★★★
"Absolutely the most amazing place, location, snorkeling, staff, cleanliness, food and hospitality We are returning soon!!"
Niu Beach Hôtel Moorea ★★★
"Excellent place to stay in Moorea. Magnificent coral nearby and paddle boards/kayaks available to explore the lagoon"
Moorea Island Beach Hotel ★★★
"Moorea is a magical island, and the Moorea Island Beach was a truly lovely place to experience it. The hotel matches the island's charming, distinctive character, offering the perfect blend of a homey, laid-back ambience with a stylish, well-appointed hotel experience. We stayed in the two-bedroom villa, which was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, while also making frequent use of the hotel's convivial, relaxing communal spaces, not least the spectacular views from the patio/dining area, especially at sunset. Having such direct access to the beach was such a treat—perfect for a quiet cup of coffee in the morning, where you can enjoy the peacefulness of the surroundings while fish swim around your toes! Managers Claude and Virgilia were gracious, helpful, generous, and kind. All in, a terrific experience, one that I highly recommend and would definitely seek out again myself."
Moorea Sunset Beach ★★★★
"Burns beach, beach bar nearby where you can book excursions"
Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa ★★★★★
"Definitely opt for the overwater bungalows. The beach bungalows with private pools were a little worn down. The main pool was closed due to renovations and it was not supposed to be. The renovations were supposed to have been completed before our stay. That was a bummer and all they did was give us a $50 credit. The lagoon and house reef is spectacular and so full of fish. All not motorized activities including kayaking and SUP are included. Very good buffet breakfast. The service was 3 star definitely not 5 star service. An absolutely fantastic location and go to happy hour for sunset."
Hotel Hibiscus ★★
"We stayed 9 nights in Bungalow 12 as a couple. We enjoyed the location of the bungalow as it had a sea view and it was modern, one of the refurbished ones, with air/con. It's comfortable, although there's not much storage and it would be greatly improved if there were some hooks in the bathroom. The real benefit is the small kitchenette with the fridge, so we actually went to the supermarket and had a well-stocked cupboard/fridge to have our own breakfast everyday on our terrace. The Reception area is small and a little bit run-down, the staff are very helpful and attentive. Note, there's no concierge service, it's DIY and the reception work hours are during the day only and start after most of the trips pick up. Basically, there's no help, if your tour doesn't arrive or you need help outside of regular hours. There's a dichotomy with this hotel as it's listed as a 2Star, but in many ways the quality of the bungalow, the setting, location on the lagoon is much higher than that. Then you visit the pool, the tired/dirty sun beds, and the fact that there's no shade anywhere and you realise it's 2Star for the overall offering. You get what you pay for. In our case, as we were staying for a while, we rented a car, bought our own parasol umbrella, sun bed (yes, we went to a gardening store) and made the best of it. The Sunset Restaurant is a real bonus, the staff are very attentive and hard-working. The quality of the food was good, and the cocktails were a real treat. Much better than the bigger hotels that are 4/5Star. Sunset: Each evening wonderful! The hotel grounds (other than the pool) were immaculate and the cleaners have a fantastic work ethic, our room/bathroom was spotlessly cleaned everyday. Thank you Vanna and her aunty. I think one of the main plus points, in our view, was that the bungalows are well-spaced out and you don't feel 'on top of each other'. Our holiday was a wonderful relaxing break, and we would love to return again one day! "
Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort ★★★★★
"great. The surrounding trails, sea, and scenery are the best."
Hotel Kaveka ★★★
"The sea was right nearby, which made it very comfortable. I would definitely like to stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thank you."
Hôtel Fenua Mata'i'oa ★★★★
"My wife and me expected a nice and peaceful journey, but the welcome was horrible. After my wife pointed out the humidity level of the facilities, the manager started to litteraly fight with her, saying "don't come here, don't ask for this, you are not welcome if you start like this". So, 1st expect a 90% humidity level, without any fresh air or dehumidifier device, bathrooms in the bedroom with no ventilation (is this legal ?), a lot of moisture, 2cd expect a lot of mosquitos, and eventually expect the most despictable manager I have ever seen. No coffee or tea for our breakfeat (insane !), you cannot ask because people are elsewhere, very bad mood and energy everywhere. It seems the employees suffer a toxic management, the same people doing 3 or 4 jobs at the same time (barmaid = receptionist = cleaning lady = eveything else). The location was ok, very nice view in front of the lagoon, but how to fully enjoy it, I will never know. Avoid this location, this hostel is no more than a 2* + toxic management. Hope it helps."

Moorea Beach Villas
"Moorea Beach Villas is a brand-new resort right on the beach with views of the motus! There are a total of 10 beautifully appointed bungalows, 8 of which have their own private pool. At the front, there are two large villas with extra-large pools and direct beach access. The thought behind this place has truly been put into the design – the bungalows are exceptionally well-appointed and offer the utmost in comfort: with a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with a washer and dryer, a fantastic large terrace, and an illuminated pool, you're treated to a truly luxurious experience! In addition, high-quality kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are available for all guests. From the beach, you can paddle to Coco Beqch or the sandbar to see the stingrays in just a few minutes. There are also several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We rented an electric scooter from Coco Rider and explored the entire island from there – so we can wholeheartedly recommend Moorea Beach Villas! It's the perfect base for exploring the island! Thumbs up all around 👍🏻👍🏻"
Green Lodge Moorea
"This is a lovely peaceful spot. Small lodge with the owners on site. Isabelle and Jean Luc were so kind and helpful. Lovely pool and view of the Pacific from each room. Very generous continental breakfast. Would stay here again in a heart beat."
Moemiti
"Well, I don't usually give negative reviews, so I gave it 3 stars. The bungalows are quite large, clean, and well laid out. The pool is nice, and the grounds are well maintained. But be warned, it's in the middle of nowhere. There's no beach access on foot, just a small grocery store 800 meters away, and no food trucks nearby. So a car is ESSENTIAL, otherwise your stay will be ruined. I regret the location."
Linareva Moorea Beach Resort
"The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, quiet and self-contained. The courtyard is very thoughtful and planted with a variety of plants. The front desk and service staff were warm and patient. After checking out, they helped us arrange a special waiting area. The proprietress was willing to pick up the car for us. The facilities in the room are old, the hair dryer is still bad, and there are a lot of bugs. The most terrible cockroaches crawled into our suitcases."
Moorea Golf Lodge
"Great food, especially fish and coconut ice cream. Slow service because it's usually busy and there's only 1 server -- but remember you're on island time! Reasonable prices. Nothing for vegetarians. Definitely recommend."
Moorea Surf Inn
"Tahiti itself is not worth the money. The owner, Tama is just super rude, Can barely surf his home break. I don’t care about “rustic” it’s the 2000’s get some air conditioning. This place and Tahiti is for people that are absolute tourists and don’t know any better 🤘🏼"
Fare Manta
"We started our trip to Polynesia in the most wonderful way at the Manta Fare! A dream welcome with Nathalie and Stephane where we learned a lot of beautiful things on these islands. I recommend that all who want to go to Moorea pass through this small corner of paradise."
