GRIDS PREMIUM HOTEL MORIOKA(Newly open on 2026 May 1st)
"I was looking for a hotel for my trip to Morioka when I found out this hotel was opening that day, so I booked it right away. The lobby, guest rooms, and lounge were all beautiful, stylish, and wonderful. The large public bath had a sauna, which was very relaxing. The breakfast, which I had been looking forward to, was even more delicious than I expected, and I ate a lot. I definitely want to stay here again the next time I travel to Morioka."
Four Points Flex by Sheraton Morioka
"All well. The car park entrance is a bit hard to find if you’re driving but very convenient if you are using the train. Close to a observation desk near the train station"
Richmond Hotel Morioka Ekimae
"A good experience. The staff finally arranged the highest floor (14/F) for us. Thank you so much. One comment to add: the lighting in the room entrance area is insufficient. Hope the hotel can improve."
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Morioka Station (Ekimae)
"Basically this is THE HEST hotel we stayed throughout the 3 weeks we in Japan. Location is excellent, service was great, room spacious and best among all, our room is facing the beautiful Morioka Nakatsugawa River. We were given on top floor and when morning open the curtain, you will this beautiful river with Mount Iwate at backdrops, it’s simply stunning. Highly recommended to visit Morioka, such a beautiful city and stay Daiwa Roynet, will surely not disappoint you"
Art Hotel Morioka

Hotel Ace Morioka

Hotel Royal Morioka
"There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. The hotel does not provide parking spaces. Please park in the nearby parking lot. The room is very spacious."
Super Hotel Morioka
"Although it is a little far from Morioka Station, it is attractive that a single room with no meals is less than 7,000 yen, and includes a large public bath and breakfast. The large public bath is on a rotating schedule for men and women, so it is a little inconvenient if the time does not match. Breakfast is also crowded, so it is recommended to come early (from 6:30). There is a streaming icon for the TV, so if you have an account, it is convenient when you don't have anything to watch on terrestrial or BS. Previously, there were only five cosmetic amenities for women, but now there are ones for men and they have some very useful items such as face masks."
Hotel Route-Inn Morioka Minami Inter
"The bath and the food were great! I'd love to stay here again!"
Toyoko Inn Morioka Eki Minami Guchi Ekimae
"Perhaps the worst hotel throughout my Tokyo-Tohoku trip. Staffs are not at all friendly, it almost felt like discrimination because the reception greeted all their guests with their usual "welcome" and "thank you", but not the 'Chinese looking guests'. They don't speak English well either. The toilet malfunctioned for almost 2 hours in the morning, there was no water to flush. There is no wardrobe to store clothes, no space to even place our luggages. Worst of all, there is only one elevator (mind you, it's a multi-storey hotel, it's so tall it could be seen from Morioka station itself). Which hotel has only 1 elevator? The lift was full and it stopped at almost every floor in the morning full, and some guests could not enter the lift and had to wait for another round. Imagine the guests that stay on the lower floors with luggages. Although this hotel is fairly near the Morioka station, we would not recommend it at all. There are other hotels with better amenities as close as 100 metres from this hotel. And it's not exactly cheap - it was the same price as the best 3-star hotel we've stayed in Sendai (and Sendai is a much bigger town)."
Yamaichi
"It was really great. It was on the 14th floor and the view was great. My special girlfriend said the breakfast was delicious and it was really delicious."
Bessou Kakei
"We didn't encounter any other guests and were able to relax in peace and quiet. The room was thoroughly cleaned and felt very tidy. The stone tray where the bathroom amenities were placed was great as it allowed everyone to keep their belongings organized. The breakfast was delicious, but I wish it was a little more substantial. Overall, I was very satisfied. Thank you for your hospitality."
Morioka Grand Hotel Annex
"I stayed in a twin room for one person and the price was for one person! It was the best condition and it was very good."
Toyoko Inn Morioka Ekimae
"Room is clean and the facilities are all new ans clean. Good locations is nearby JR station."
Morioka Hotel New Carina
"Room is big enough space for luggages. Very good staffs and services"
Hotel Pearl City Morioka
"This hotel is perfect for business use. It is close to the station and downtown, and is cheap, so I always use it. I would like to use it again next time."
