Room was clean and tidy, a little dated but that was ok. The food at the restaurant was 5 star. Staff at the check in counter and restaurant were great too. Reverse cycle air con in the room makes the stay more comfortable on a cold night. It is in a good location as you can walk to city centre. If we come back to Morwell we would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff and centrally located. Free breakfast for that price definitely the deal breaker. No hesitation to recommend it to anybody stopping over at Morwell or even nearby towns.

We have stayed at this hotel many times before and, while the rooms weren't fantastic, they still met our needs. On our latest visit, however, the story changed for the worst. We were told the rooms were being upgraded, and we did see the walls were painted in the bathroom. However, the painter must have been in a hurry as paint dripped onto the skirting board and floor in the bathroom. In the corner where they had tea and coffee, there was no light. The power point was on the other side of the room, which was very dangerous. There were only a couple of sachets for coffee and bags for tea, a lot less than last time.

What a gem! Although my expectations were quite high given all the reviews, they were exceeded. The spa room I had was lovely, spacious, in excellent condition, very clean and very comfortable and the bathroom amenities better than I have experienced anywhere. I loved the help yourself continental breakfast, everything you need plus more and so convenient. The owners Katie and Rob couldn’t have been more lovely, great hosts and very helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service plus. I will definitely be back here again in my next trip to Morwell!

The service from the receptionist (Kavi) is excellent, expecting a hot tub/ spa in the king studio all the way to Traralgon, however we only knew it doesn’t have any spa or hot tub included although it was stated on their website 🥲 other than that, the room is spacious and comfortable, the food is great as well

We stayed in the two bedroom suite for 2 nights with our two young boys (3 yrs & 1 yr old). This is probably the most unusual layout of a 2 bedroom we have come across. I wonder if the rear room was added on in later renovations? We did find it a bit hard as the kids room is the front room with the kitchen and bathroom. The rear master room has its own TV and stunning views across the Golf course. Its actually a lovely room, clean and nice. There is an old (dated) courtyard sort of an internal courtyard between the front room and rear room but I have no idea why anyone would utilise that space when you can sit at the rear that overlooks the Golf course. We moved the kettle to the rear room to keep noise to a minimum for our kids. We also enjoyed the pool both evenings after dinner (clean, great temperature) and would shower and be all ready for bed before our 1 yr old went to bed so meant early nights! We only did this to reduce the chance of our kids waking each time we went to the bathroom or the fridge for milk or to make a tea/coffee etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the pool was great, the beds comfy (soft), it was clean, bathrooms renovated and views from the rear room beautiful. It was also quiet (Room 18) However the layout is a little odd, so family groups or groups of 4 really need to consider if they are happy having people walk through the room with the single beds to use the toilet or kitchenette.
