"Never book with Agoda travel Agents NEVER. We booked at this guesthouse while traveling thru Agoda, the guesthouse replied immediatly that they are fully booked, Agoda ignored the email, and still debit the amount from bank card, we arrived just to find out they fully booked, we were stranded and had to drive in the middle of the night to our next destination. Since the 28 of March 2026 we try to get a refund from Agoda with no luck. I went on facebook and there are litteraly 100 and 100 of people that lost money to Agoda due to this bad service. So please dont make the same mistake and loose money to Agoda scammers. Booking never took place because fulle booked, but i paid for it. Invoice attached"

"I spent a night at this hotel with some family. I have mixed feelings about it. The rooms were clean and good, with a nice bathroom. The interior of the hotel is pretty. The rooftop bar and dining room are good settings. However, my dissatisfaction arose during the meals. The drinks took a while to arrive once we ordered even though the place wasn’t busy. This was confusing since the drinks we ordered wouldn’t take a long time to prepare (e.g. a can of soft drink or a beer). During the meals, we found that we couldn’t order certain things on the menu because the kitchen didn’t have enough stock of it left. We only found this out after ordering and had to take another look at the menu."

"Our room, #9, was fabulous. Spacious, more like a full suite. No bath, but huge shower. Bed and linen of a very high quality and VERY comfortable. Seating area on lovely stoep overlooking sweeping lawn. Ronnie gave us a lovely welcome and great recommendation for a nice Italian restaurant just a few mins away. Definitely our new stop-over. Highly recommend 👌"

"What a great privilege to be able to spend the night at A Cherry Lane Self Catering and B&B just in front of Bloemfontein. I drove from George in the late afternoon to Mpumalanga, where I spent the night. At Colesberg, I contacted Nita and asked if they served evening dinner and I could order a cooked meal. I was very kindly welcomed by Nita, we went to show where I was sleeping and then I went to the dining room to eat my delicious meal. I ordered a food package for the next morning because I fell into the road again early. Thank you to Nita and her husband for eating there, sleeping very well, and for the delicious breakfast package. I recommend A Cherry Lane Guest House and B&B with a joy in my heart, beautiful, clean, and pleasant people there. Thank you very much 👏🏻🤗💐Regards, Janet"
