Perfect
GGuest UserI used to hear my elders say that rammed earth houses were very comfortable when I was a child. They had good insulation, could return to the earth, and were environmentally friendly. After experiencing it here, I have to admire the wisdom of our ancestors; I slept soundly until morning. I'm also even more impressed that the guesthouse owner spent 7 years building China's first rammed earth wellness architectural complex, which includes:
15 Guest Rooms: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mattresses & Pillows
The mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable. After the owner introduced the brand, I couldn't help but give a thumbs up. I can only say that they are truly willing to spend money to ensure guests get a good night's sleep here – it's totally worth it!
Restaurant (seats 30): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service
The restaurant staff are all local villagers, and during meals, I experienced their thoughtfulness and hospitality. What I remember most about breakfast are the local savory butter tea and fried *baba*. There's also a super cozy real fireplace.
Coffee & Book Bar: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hand-Drip Coffee
As an old tea drinker who isn't particularly keen on coffee, I actually developed an urge to learn more about coffee here. The loft relaxation area (a favorite with kids) and the outdoor viewing area (super photogenic) are wonderfully designed.
Yoga & SPA Space: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything is Great
I searched on Xiaohongshu and found that there are quite a few people who love it as much as I do.
Sound Earth Theater: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (As many stars as possible!)
A theater where you can lie down to listen to music and watch videos. A true audio-visual feast that you need to experience for yourself!
Cigar & Wine Tasting Room: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Host's Passion and Professionalism
The host has a great passion for and professional understanding of cigar, spirits, and wine appreciation. Plus, they have a very impressive sommelier certification.
AAnonymous UserThe room is large and well-equipped with complete facilities. There is a smart toilet. The design is very thoughtful and the bedding is very comfortable.
The courtyard outside the room is carefully decorated and beautiful. You can sit in the courtyard to eat and enjoy the scenery. There are rice fields outside the house, which is very pastoral and quiet.
However, when I originally booked the room, I went because the reviews said that the boss lady’s cooking was delicious and that breakfast was included (after all, 450 is not very cheap). However, during the two days we stayed, only the boss received us, and breakfast was the third. One day we only had eggs and white porridge. On the second day, when we expressed that we were not full and demanded some dry food, we got one steamed bun and a few pickles per person.
Most of the dinner consisted of dishes that we had packed back for lunch. The boss helped me heat them up, plus a stir-fried bacon and boiled pea sprouts (the pea sprouts were very fresh, but they really didn’t have any flavor, and there was no salt... ) I’m really hungry every day…
Generally speaking, the hardware facilities are good, but the service has not kept up... and this comment is because the boss didn't push me twice to write a comment within 24 hours after we left. I wrote down my true feelings.
To whom it may concern
EE1182****Don't miss this homestay when you come to see the monkey! Comfortable and beautiful, the boss will arrange your monkey-watching itinerary properly. Don't worry if you are not driving by yourself, the boss can help contact the chartered driver master, the price is reasonable.
Facilities: air conditioning, electric mattress, bathroom dry and wet separation
Hygienic: clean and tidy
Environment: The scenery outside the window is big enough
Service: responsive
GGuest UserFacilities: Kohler bathroom, comfortable bedding
Hygiene: Clean under the bed
Environment: awesome, shaded by green trees
Service: considerate
The boss is very caring, every decoration, every angle feels that the owner has put a lot of thought into it, staying for one night, I can't tell you how comfortable it is, a place you want to live in again and again, the guest room, the restaurant, and the courtyard have their own characteristics, It was very quiet and unexpectedly cleaned well under the bed. I hope the boss will not forget the original intention and continue to work hard, and hope that every guest can find their heart here
GGuest UserEspecially praise the homestay, the boss is very careful about the decoration and garden design of the homestay. After a day of self-driving, staying in the homestay seemed to return to my own small courtyard, and the fatigue was swept away. The whole family fell in love with this homestay immediately. Inspiringly, dinner ordered a chicken stew soup, the kind boss gave us a free bovine fungus.
GGuest UserWe had a great stay at this family-fun guesthouse (we are a family of three, travelling with a 3-year-old). The owners were super-friendly and very generous - they offered us complimentary fruit, including watermelon from their own field behind, wild honey, and even cooked some wild mushrooms that we had picked in the woods for us (after double-checking that they were edible!)
The guestrooms are clean, light, comfortable and spacious - and there is air conditioning available in case it's slightly warmer in the summer months. The mattresses were also fairly comfortable.
The location is great - next to a river, about a 10-minute drive up from Tacheng Town. This makes getting to the monkey reserve and Damozushi Temple (the main attractions) more convenient.
On the food side, the breakfast was hearty to the extreme and varied from day to day, with various local specialties including local ******* Yak Butter Tea. Pretty much everything was homemade. You can also eat there in the evenings to avoid driving to town - and the lady that runs it is a great cook.
Other pros include the lovely decking by the river and the walkway that the village has developed along the river bank - perfect for a morning/evening stroll, or in our case, taking our little one for a spin on her balance bike.
We live in Lijiang, so not too far away - and will definitely be coming back to stay here again.
GGuest UserIt is really a very good homestay. The room is spacious, bright and clean. You can see a whole green mountain outside the window in the room. The green is very eye-catching. The boss and the proprietress are simple, warm and generous. Because of some personal reasons, you need to check out early. After discussing with the proprietress, She agreed without saying anything. So if you want to see the Golden Monkey and Damo Zushi Temple, it is recommended to stay at their homestay. There is really no need to live in those very expensive hotels. This is very cost-effective!
GGuest UserThe room is newly renovated, simple style, the bed is very soft compared to other hotels nearby is really cost-effective, clean, the front desk and the boss are very warm, the service attitude is good, the mineral water is free, it is recommended! Will come again, thank the boss for the gift of the ginseng [holding fist] [holding fist]
