Mountain View Hotels in Dehra Dun

The property was lovely. Its location is very good and the facilities are also very good. The food is nice. I would suggest ever to visit this property if you are at Dehradun.

I paid for royal room (breakfast and taxes inclusive. For this much money (though this is after discount price) hotel lacks the basic amenities like there was no moisturiser and hair dryer in the room. We had to ask for the dental kit too. Mind it hair dryer is only available in the suite room. Upon request iron was provided but that too without the iron board. Talking about breakfast, do not expect buffet. Only few items are served and basic breakfast item like juices are also not available. When it comes to beverages, only tea and coffee are available in breakfast menu. In room dining menu, the options are immense but again there are no basic options like burger. Though the pizza was good but again chocolate shake was such a disappointment. There are much better options of the hotel available in the same locality.

Nice stay but the telephone is not working. Thus It’s problematic to reach reception . The night shift reception boy is good listener thankfully. They need to check their television or remote. It’s hard to change channel . If possible they should provide egg in breakfast.

The day i reached i was charged rs 500 for reaching before time. There was nobody to carry the luggage to the room. Next day person came to ask if any requirement is there, i asked just for a bottle which was not provided at the same time, it was provided when i was passing by the reception, rest all was good.

The location of hotel is excellent. Close to tourist place, on the highway to mussoorie. Rooms are small comfortable but the window view is blocked due to adjacent buildings. Breakfast menu remains same and tasteless, so we decided to skip it as it is not so enticing. Dehradun is famous for good food so why waste a meal. Surprisingly the restaurant closes at 10 in the morning, that should be improved. They are not cheap so cannot catalogue them as budget hotels but then the amenities are to be improved by the hotel.
