"- The phone rang immediately after I entered the room. I didn't understand what they were saying, so I asked, "What is it?" and they said it was a different customer, they had made a mistake... - There was a sticky, damp dust clinging to the air conditioner vent in the room, and the whole room smelled bad. - The entrance to the bathroom was very narrow, and the door only opened 90 degrees, so I almost tripped and fell when I went to the toilet in the middle of the night. - The walls are incredibly thin. I could hear the next room even though I wasn't speaking that loudly, and I think they could probably hear my coughs and other noises too. I would not like to use this place again."

I also enjoyed chatting with the innkeeper, which made for a wonderful travel memory."

"The room was a bit small, but quite comfortable. My travel companions who tried the large public bath on the first floor said it was great. Muroran is a small industrial city, so the streets are pretty quiet. It's nice for a stroll, and from here, you can take the JR from Higashi-Muroran Station to Muroran Station to visit Cape Chikyu. There's a highly-rated yakitori place called Ippei not far from the hotel, and the food there is excellent."
