"1. Room was spacious for 3 people. Staff was friendly. 2. Dinner and breakfast were good. I tried to contact the hotel in advance to try to specify certain food requirements using Trip.com messaging system but the message was not conveyed. So I suggest to call the hotel directly. I spoke with the staff before dinner and we managed to figure something out. 3. Hotel is accessible by ferry only. If you miss the ferry to the hotel, you will have to take the next available ferry. 4. There were 3 public baths available and I like the options. 5. We had to take a train, a bus, and a ferry to reach the hotel. It was a memorable experience, but I won't do it again if I am bringing my elderly mom. The bus and ferry were crowded and busy when we went."

"This hotel was a wonderful surprise.We had a few disappointments in our travels but this hotel wasn't one of them.Our room was spacious,clean,the air conditioner worked,breakfast was included and it was very,very good and it had a wonderful onsen.The onsen is open to the public but free of charge for guests.We all slept very well.We stayed in a triple room with 3 beds and it was very comfortable.Free car parking."

"The breakfast was very delicious. I had to choose Western and Japanese food at check-in. I chose Western food and my family chose Japanese food, but both had a number of items and were very satisfied with a reasonable price. It was a little inconvenient to have to bring it by yourself because the amenities were not in the room. I couldn't get a hotel around Kanazawa, so I was taken care of here, but it was good because I was able to sightsee Gokasayama."

"The service of this litle ryokan was great. A lovely women who incharge of this place told us with a great patience about all what is worth to see around. When we entered to our japaeese stile room, hot tea with japaeese cookies was already waiting for us and the room was heated. She told us about the room and how to use everything and served us the tea. The onsen was great. After eating a very reach and tasty japaneese breakfast, following our host edvise, we went to a big ancient house that is a museum now for ancient way of life in this area. The house was located just infront of our ryokan and it was the most intresting thing we had this day. The host in this little museum made us private tour and even played on old instrumens and peformed sa song. The ryokan is located between Shirakawa and gokoyama. Gokoyama.closer to the Ryokan and we found it more outhentic and intresting than the famous Shirakawa vilage that happened to be full of tourists and shopings and seemed to loose its authenticity."
