"For our first stay in Nihonmatsu, we chose Kounkaku based on reviews on tipcom, and stayed there with my uncle. There are parking spaces above and below Kounkaku, and you can park in either. We checked in a little before 3 pm. This time, we each had our own room. Since our room was on the second floor, we were able to easily go to the large public bath and footbath. The next morning, we went to Seifu on the fourth floor for the breakfast buffet. From the reception staff to the buffet staff, everyone was very hardworking and kind. We would like to visit again during the chrysanthemum doll season. My husband, uncle, and I were all very satisfied. Thank you very much for your hospitality."

"I've been to Dake Onsen a few times but had passed up this inn until now. I decided to stay for the first time as it had been renovated and was neat and tidy. The hot spring was as expected of Dake Onsen. The cloudy white water was of good quality. The temperature felt a little hot but the water was good. The inside of the building had an open feel, but it was a shame that cleaning couldn't keep up with the small details and there was lots of trash scattered around. It ruined the atmosphere of the inn so I hope they do something about it. Meals were served buffet style. The menu was well replenished so there was no problem even if I arrived at the restaurant late. The staff were also friendly so I would consider this as one of the possible inns to stay at Dake Onsen."

"We travelled to this hotel from Tokyo to stay here a night before my husband went drifting at Ebisu. The hotel is perfect for exactly this. Clean, tidy and staff are so helpful. We forgot a plug adapter and the lovely lady made some calls and arranged for one to be given to us at the hotel. We also used the hotel to book us a taxi and it was on time and no issues. Food for breakfast is basic but no complaints from us, we weren’t expecting anything fancy. Rooms are modern, bathrooms are a little dated but clean and no complaints. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for Ebisu then I’d recommend!"
