The Olive Branch
"We've returned home today from a night away in The Olive Branch! It was truly wonderful. The room was lovely! I'm always anxious staying away from home because I get so hot in the night but I was delighted to find that I was able to control the radiator easily! I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time! The bed was superb. The view from our top floor room was beautiful, we also loved that it was very central and we could explore the town easily. It was so nice we could just come and go as we pleased too, we had a key for the front door and then our room. The Olive Room next door was cosy and such a nice vibe. We ordered a meat and cheese board which was lovely and the best camembert I've ever had! Breakfast was included and also delicious, a really good choice of cooked breakfast and also a little buffet of cereals and toast toppings. Highly recommend for couples."
North Walk House
St James by the Quay
The Collingdale Guest House
"Very late reviewing our stay , apologies. We had a lovely time and the Collingdale managed by Sharon was wonderful. She was so friendly and managed to talk me into upgrading our stay. No mean achievement! Our room was great with it's own shower and balcony with a great view of the Harbour and Verity. It was perfectly located just a short walk from town. Perfect for what we wanted. The parking was fine too, although we paid for a reserved space we didn't need it in the end having parked on the street outside unrestricted. We would definitely like to return and we can thoroughly recommend the Collingdale."
Avoncourt Lodge
"Fantastic good old fashioned bed and breakfast. Lovely hosts and smashing breakfast. Can’t recommend this place enough."
Moorlands
"Beautiful tranquil place. Very relaxing and so comfortable. The treat at the bottom of the garden is the Woody Bay Steam Train Station. What a lovely place to visit minutes from your room. Wow! The place was easy to find and close to Lynmouth and Lynton. Daisy is so friendly and welcoming. Perfect"
Exmoor Manor Guest House
"Only stayed one night on a recommendation. Was superb in every aspect and couldn’t fault it. The pub next door served good home cooked food and was reasonably priced. The vegetarian option was so nice. Would definitely return should we ever be that way again."
Sinai House
"Sinai House is a beautifully maintained building with sloping gardens & winding steps down to Lynton. Its a steep walk with lovely views. The owners are very attentive and the breakfasts home made & delicious. Rooms are clean and well appointed with thoughtful details. I really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, stunning walks and welcoming hosts. Well worth a return visit. Thank you."
Highcliffe House
"Highcliffe House is a beautiful country house style B&B situated above the pretty town of Lynton. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished . It passed the bath towel test - huge , soft white towels that wrap round you rather than postage stamp size affairs! The owners Richard and Robert are visible and manage the B&B well . I also thought the staff helping at breakfast and cleaning the rooms were particularly friendly and pleasant .Some people have commented on unnecessary ‘rules’ but these ‘rules’ actually mean that everything works well . Things like booking dinner in advance and choosing breakfast. The breakfasts, using local produce, are a delight and it’s evident they are cooked to individual preferences . One of the nicest breakfasts we’ve had on our travels"
Sea Dunes - a Croyde bungalow with sea views & easy walk to the beach or village
Croyde Bay Hotel or Self Catering
"Brilliant location near beach. Aimed mainly at families, evening entertainment typical holiday camp for young children or oaps. Very good service and well maintained facilities. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms and fun games onsite like crazy golf. I had party of 3 adults staying in the hotel side. Best value in the area for a room with 3 or 4 adults. Highly recommend for a trip to North Devon"
Kentisbury Grange
"I’ve been fortunate enough to be well travelled and stayed in hundreds of hotels but this one is one of the best. The little details make this place so special. The accommodation was of exceptional quality with a massive bathroom, the room was spacious but so cosy I was asleep by 9.30! The food was delicious, the quality was outstanding and so lovely to see the chef taking real pride in what he does. The service was amazing, the waitresses and management were so accommodating and went above and beyond for us. This is the best value for a hotel, we hope to be back v soon!!"
The Sherborne Lodge
"Only stayed 1 night nice clean room plenty of tea coffee and sugar in your room very dog friendly breakfast was superb lovely bowl of fresh fruit and delicious full English would definitely return . it was easy find and a small walk from harbour"
Cairn House
