"I stayed here as a guest in January 2024. The hotel is out of the city centre and on the opposite side to the well regarded costal strip where there are a range of resorts and beaches. The hotel is really aimed toward business travellers or quick weekend/overnights - it is not a resort at all. The rooms are clean and really good for a nights sleep; you would want to head out each day and most likely have a car, again most areas you may want to visit are not close by. As a tip don’t arrive before 3pm, I arrived at 2pm after a flight from Australia and was told quite clearly no check in until 3, they didn’t even often to store my luggage so it was back to the car to fill in some time."

"Highly recommend the overwater bungalows for couples – you can go snorkeling right from your room! The hotel's buffet breakfast and dinner were decent, mainly Western-style. If you're looking to unwind, 2 nights is plenty. They offer 30 minutes of free kayak use daily and complimentary snorkeling gear rental during the day. Remember to book your hotel boat transfer in advance."

"Let's stay here before transferring to a remote island. If you're using it for transfer, there's no problem. However, if you want to enjoy the sea, a hotel further south on the coastline might be better."

"I had less than 24 hours in New Caledonia🇳🇨, so I chose the cheapest hotel in Noumea. It was actually quite good, and even had a green theme. Except for being asked to check out at 10 o'clock, everything else was pretty good."

"I arrived very late, close to midnight, and had sent the hotel an email notifying them of this. However, I never received any reply. On arrival, though, reception was open and I was quickly checked in by a friendly receptionist who spoke some English – not much, but we got along. My "deluxe" room on the second floor was, according to the floor plan, the smallest room on the whole floor and the only one without a bathtub. Nothing deluxe about it, quite the opposite. The hotel really lives up to its name, Le Paris, as Paris is full of these ubiquitous three star hotels with dated, cramped rooms. My room felt reasonably clean, however, it reeked of decades of cigarette smoking and could really use a refresh. There was a soft bed called a double, but it would be narrow for two, a desk and chair as well as a fridge that was not turned on. The safe worked, the A/C was effective and the wifi was reliable albeit a little slow. There was a clock on the wall, however, it did not work. There were no water bottles in the room, but they had some for sale downstairs. The bathroom was small and came with a shower cubicle where the handheld shower had good water pressure and ample hot water. The only amenities provided were two wall-mounted containers: hand soap and a combined hair and body soap. Check-out time was 10:30 am, which must be the earliest check-out time I have ever seen. A "late" check-out at noon would have incurred an extra charge of approx. 25 €. I could levae my bag at reception for a few hours on checking out, though. I stayed here for one night because I had a late arrival and I also wanted to see the city centre before moving to a beach hotel in Anse Vata. For this purpose, the hotel did its job, but I would not be happy staying here for more than one night. The hotel enjoys a very central location two blocks from Place des Cocotiers and is within easy walking distance to anything in the city centre. The cathedral is right behind the hotel, and you are reminded by this each hour as the church bells ring, day and night. I paid 71 €, no breakfast included, and felt the hotel was more or less worth the price."

"It's an older hotel in a residential area on the eastern side of Noumea at Ouemo. The staff are friendly and helpful and there are two large free car parks. We stayed in room 306 and thoroughly loved it, as it was very spacious and had cooking facilities and a good balcony, with wonderful views of the bay. There was a large television with numerous channels. There's a small beach and a swimming pool. There is also a well stocked shop at reception, that has a good selection of microwavable meals, cheese, cold meats, milk, drinks and juices. You can also buy toiletries. There's an in-house laundrette, that you pay for 24-hour usage, but the dryers are free. We'd certainly stay here again."
