"Late arrival after night flight: well welcomed.
Location in the centre of Ducos with shops and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, Sunday was all closed. The product I've booked on photo and description on site trop.com does not correspond to the reality once on site. As 3 adults, I booked a triple deluxe bed king size suite attached to a single bed to be each other next to each other. I had a king size bed and an extra bed that took the place in the room and not very comfortable given my size. Some technical concerns too but the reception and maintenance were taken things into hand very quickly. Deceptive of the room in relation to the price paid for a triple deluxe room and have a non-contractual photo product."
"Location is absolutely beautiful and the snorkelling is insane! Every morning we snorkelled with over 10 turtles but beware of the sea snakes (they tend to swim away from you though.) Rooms were really nice and tidy too. Only down fall was the customer service and the food. Food was really expensive and not much variety."
"Service was excellent, from reception to housekeeping we had positive interactions with all the staff we ran into. They are very polite and make you feel very welcome and at home. The rooms are very spacious and come with balconies.
However the hotel is aging, the room smelt unpleasant, the rooms are very dated, TV didn’t work (disclosure I did not let the hotel know otherwise I’m sure they would of fixed it), there was mould in grout in the bathroom, pool doesn’t get any sun and is aging and grounds are neglected and unkept. Feels a bit like the Hilton brand (or owner) doesn’t prioritise this hotel much given the other Hilton is just a 20 min boat ride away in Ilot Maitre and unlike this place, is quite exceptional.
Many restaurants, cafes and bars around but no supermarkets, just one small general store walking distance. You can easily walk to both Casinos from here. Around a 10 min drive from Port Moselle in midday traffic. I didn’t eat any of the food at the hotel.
Honest option, head straight for an over water bungalow at Hilton Ilot Maître and skip this place, better to do a day trip back to this part of Noumea rather than stay here."
"Staff and hotel are very accomodating during a time when the airport was closed and tourists required to stay longer than intended. All of the staff were friendly, greeting you with warmth and doing all the can to look after you. Hotel in a very good location. Very short walk to the beach and restaurants. Pharmacy and mini marts nearby for any supplies as well. I hope to come back to Noumea one day and would gladly stay at Le Lagon Hotel"
"Helpful and friendly staff.
Only one little matter - we booked transfer to airport for our departure. Despite reminding the reception at 11am of our booking, at 1130am the van was not there. Infact the van was 15mins late. Further the driver berated us for cutting our departure time so fine though we had actually checked with the reception on what was a reasonable time to depart."
"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Beaurivage! The location is unbeatable — right across from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean any time of day. The area is also full of fantastic food and beverage options, so you'll never run out of places to eat or grab a drink.
The hotel’s amenities were solid. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable throughout my stay, which was a huge plus. I also appreciated the bag storage service — it made things much easier on check-in and check-out days.
One standout feature was the bathroom — excellent water pressure and the temperature control was spot on, making showers super refreshing.
Overall, Hotel Beaurivage offers a great mix of location, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for both short and longer stays!"
"I used it for 2 nights from the arrival night of Noumea. You can walk to Marche in about 5 minutes and Cocotier Square in about 10 minutes. The rooms are simple and clean. Amenities are only hair and body soap, so it is better to bring them with you.
In addition, there was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room, so I could warm up and eat what I bought at Marche, supermarkets, and food trucks. They were very helpful in arranging a taxi to Magenta Airport. You can't see the sea, but it's convenient before walking around town or going to remote islands. The staff is kind and I would like to use it again. thank you very much."
"Good communication with the hotel prior to arrival. I had an early morning flight and the staff booked my transfer to the airport which Inpaid for upon my arrival. The room was clean and tidy and was well stocked with coffee, tea and hot chocolate."
"The front desk was not available due to late night check-in, but when I pressed the call button, a staff member came within a few minutes.
At both check-in and check-out, we were greeted with a smile."
