"I've been to Nyon hostel many times and am consistently impressed by their easy-to-use website, swift follow-up to bookings and excellent service once you arrive there. The hostel is a 15 minute walk from Nyon station but there is a very frequent bus service (the 204 Chantemerle) from the station to the hostel. Being close to Nyon station means you have fantastic access to all the tourist or business sites along La Côte, whether you want to go in the Geneva direction (20 minutes by train) or the Lausanne direction (30 mins). The hostel itself has great private rooms with en suites and sunny balconies, as well as the usual hostel shared rooms. These private rooms are about half the price of hotels in the Nyon area...they are spotless and spacious. Sometimes there's a bit of noise from adjoining rooms but nothing to offset the advantages. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay in the canton of Vaud. The staff are very friendly too!"

"Stayed here for 8 nights during a recent trip to Nyon to visit family. My room was clean and comfortable - came with nespresso maker, dishwasher, tv, hair dryer, basic toiletries. +Really enjoyed the kitchen, with fridge, stove and all the basics you would need to cook. Limited breakfast menu is available (pastries, yogurt, juice) but no room service otherwise. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure and water temp were great! The air-conditioned room was a added perk especially since there was a heat way and most places in Switzerland don’t have that luxury. Location was ideal! Only 2 blocks to the train station, 10 min walk to the waterfront, lots of restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Hotel Staff were fantastic. From providing restaurant recommendations, travel tips, prompt response to requests for things like extra towels, to lending us adapters, everyone was welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Stayed here for a week. Location was ideal. Staff were friendly and room facilities ok. Situated near a supermarket and restaurants. Can get Uber delivery as well. Even though it’s a bowling alley you cannot hear anything within the rooms. Would stay again."

"First, I spent a few hours wondering this lovely town earlier in my trip. I decided that I didn't want to stay in Geneva the evening before my flight because I wanted to stay in Nyon. The Ambassador Boutique hotel was perfect. Comfortable room, great hot shower, very nice breakfast, and best of all, lovely staff. The young woman at reception recommended a great restaurant for dinner and called to get me a reservation. Special place. Also, I felt very safe as a solo traveller. Highly recommend."

"We stayed 3 nights here whist visiting our friend who lives nearby. The hotel is lovely, super clean and comfortable and the staff are so friendly. The lady in charge at breakfast and in the mornings was absolutely brilliant. Breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice from a juicer, great coffee and lots of choice on food and amazing home made yoghurt. We had a suite at the back with a terrace so you could see the lake. Gin bar wasn’t open in the hotel as they have a bar opposite, outside at the park in the summer which had the amazing choice of gins and cocktails (only issue that shut earlier on Sunday and I didn’t get my margarita!) All was perfect. Would definitely recommend."
