"The rooms are quite new and modern. Lots of exposed concrete, especially on the ceilings, creating a cool, modern design. This hotel would be a good choice for a stay in Oldenburg. What's completely unacceptable, however, is the constant use of informal address by the staff (who aren't even 30 years old) with guests (in my case, over 60). This is inappropriate and disrespectful. Even in English-speaking countries, this doesn't happen. You can also observe a lot of private conversations among the staff, even though there's plenty to be done at the tables. Overall, there seems to be too much sloppiness among the service team."

"We went on a city trip in May. The hotel was a bit older, but only from the outside. The rooms were new, very friendly, and clean. There was plenty of free parking right outside. Refrigerators for drinks, including Coke, Fanta, water, and beer, were available on every floor, and the service charge was included in the room rate, so you could help yourself. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, with a bit of everything. Ideal for a city break, about a 15-minute walk along the old harbor; highly recommended."

The hotel also features an indoor swimming pool and sauna for relaxation. The Heidekate restaurant offers local cuisine and a unique dinner experience, along with a fireplace bar and summer beer garden, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, providing attentive service from check-in to check-out and promptly resolving any issues. The breakfast selection is extensive and consistently receives positive reviews. Overall, this is a very cost-effective hotel—quiet, clean, and with attentive service—ideal for business trips or short vacations. Highly recommended!"
