"Evaluation of the TIMGADE Hotel in Oran. Unfortunately, my experience upon arrival at the TIMGADE hotel in Oran was extremely disappointing. The staff at the reception were unwelcoming and seemed disinterested. No effort has been made to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lack of professionalism of the staff was striking. Employees appeared disorganized and uncompetent in performing their tasks. Simple requests like WIFI were handled poorly which added to my feeling of frustration and discomfort. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The general attitude of the staff was indifferent and unconcerned with the well-being of the guests. Although the cleanliness of my room was acceptable, other parts of the hotel appeared poorly maintained. Common facilities were dirty and in disrepair, which would contribute to an overall feeling of neglect. The breakfast, far from reflecting the photos on the advertising model, consisted of a simple café au lait, the pastries consisted of 4 bread croutons and 2 madeleine type cakes. Conclusion: Overall, my stay at the TIMGADE hotel in Oran was very disappointing due to the poor welcome and the lack of professionalism of the staff. I would not recommend this property to other travelers unless significant changes are made to the hotel's management and service culture."

"Hello, This is a new hotel with professional service. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are clean and it is in a good location. I recommend it for families. The only negative point is that this hotel does not accept credit cards and this has become a big handicap because you are not informed in advance and once you check out you are informed that credit cards are not accepted and therefore you have to pay cash. Despite this, the staff remains friendly and amazing."

"I strongly advise against this hotel for anyone wanting a pleasant stay. My experience was a series of disappointments from beginning to end. Last December, I traveled to the hotel to book nine nights for January, leaving a substantial deposit of 30,000 dinars. From the outset, I trusted this recently renovated establishment, expecting an experience that lived up to its reputation. On the very late check-in day, everything seemed fine. But upon arriving in the room, the first surprise: a bed that was far too small. My feet hung well off the end of the mattress, even though I'm only 1.76 meters tall. Unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be upscale. Adding to this was a noisy mini-fridge, left on all night, with a disturbing light that prevented me from sleeping properly. But the worst was yet to come. The next morning, at breakfast: total disaster. The buffet was almost empty. The products were clearly several days old, nothing fresh. The croissants were so hard you could have broken a window with them. And the most incredible thing: no bread at the buffet. When I asked for some, the restaurant manager—out of uniform, dressed carelessly, and presenting a rather unhygienic image—returned with bread… in his hands, without any protection, tray, or napkin. He was even about to put it directly in the toaster, handling the bread stuck inside with his bare hands. A shocking and completely unacceptable scene. Faced with this blatant lack of professionalism and hygiene, my wife and I immediately decided to leave and return to our usual hotel, the Royal Hotel, where we know the service is excellent. The hotel agreed to refund the difference. However, despite sending dozens of emails, I still haven't received anything. A hotel that lacks such professionalism, hygiene, and respect for its guests is simply one to avoid at all costs. An extremely disappointing experience."

"I have traveled a lot and I have never had such a catastrophic experience as at the Four Point By Sheraton in Oran. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, there was no one to welcome us. The gentleman sitting at the entrance didn't even lift a finger to help us pass our bags through the security scanner. No member of staff came to help us take our suitcases to the room. The reception was dull, and the welcome during check-in was unparalleled. To top it off, one of the elevators was broken, and an unpleasant smell reigned in the common areas. Once in our room, we were disappointed by its smallness, the blurred view through dirty floor-to-ceiling windows, and bland decor that left something to be desired. The hammam was out of service, and in the spa relaxation area, only two deckchairs were available, placed in a corridor facing dirty bay windows. Fingerprints were everywhere. Additionally, the outdoor pool was closed, depriving us of even the opportunity to sit and admire the view. We eventually decided to leave for the neighboring hotel, the Oran Bay, where we met other guests who had also chosen to leave the Four Points."
