"The hotel in orbost town on the side of A1 road is a little rustic. The location is not easy to find, mainly because the sign at the entrance of the hotel is placed in the bushes, so people can't find it. The service is good. I am worried that we will arrive late, so I have opened the room to ventilate. You can eat in the town across the road, with Chinese food and fast food, and you can buy supermarkets. Stay here overnight and fill up with gasoline tomorrow morning, because there are gas stations and hot food for sale about two hours' drive to NSW."

"Absolutely rubbish place don’t book. Freezing cold, heater doesn’t work. When try to contact staff, they ignore you, and pretend don’t hear any of your requests. Don’t go to this place, service is horrible."

"Cosy location away from the main road but not too far to be able to walk to the pub, rooms are lovely and clean tidy, bed was very comfortable , woke up to kangaroos at the front, cockatoos, maggies and galahs singing- a beautiful part of the world. Highly recommend this motel"

"A really nice motel with a friendly reception. They even gave each person a free breakfast box for the first night. There's a bar right next door and they have some nice merchandise. Great location."

"It was clear that the area where the cottage was located used to be a small, thriving resort with a large restaurant and a large grassy slope surrounding it. We stayed for four nights, and we were the only guests. The room was rather old, and there were many fallen leaves outside; it was very quiet. It was also quite far from the town, about 18 kilometers, a 20-minute drive."

"One night stay in spacious, clean room. Bathroom was small with skylight. Off street parking. Microwave, fridge, iron, kettle, toaster, tea, coffee. An incredibly comfortable lounge. Bed comfortable, pillows ok. Poor water pressure in shower, though hot water ok. Above average country motel but spoilt by ridiculous screaming back and forwards for many hours by multiple groups staying in different rooms all around the complex. Would give it another try."
