"This was my second stay at Douyang Pavilion; my first visit was in May last year, and I had a great experience. While the hotel isn't brand new, it's impeccably clean, both inside and out. The open-air onsen is small but exquisitely designed. We didn't book dinner at the hotel, but a yakiniku restaurant nearby was very convenient. The foot bath by the entrance is a unique feature. On a nice day, it's incredibly relaxing to grab a drink, snuggle in a blanket, and enjoy the river view. Sleeping on the tatami mats at night was also very comfortable. The absolute highlight is that you can set off fireworks right outside the hotel. They even sell them, and if you bring your own, you're welcome to use the lighters and buckets provided by the hotel. We only set off sparklers, though, and I'm not sure if larger fireworks are allowed, especially given the extensive grassy areas nearby."
"I accidentally stayed at the Life Hotel! I like it so much😍It's very quiet, and the facilities and services are great! Suitable for leisure vacation! I only stayed for one night and still felt unsatisfied, and my family has been thinking about it all the time! Dinner and breakfast are also very good👌It is my favorite hotel in Hokkaido this time😍"
"The snowstorm disrupted the trip. All the good hot spring hotels were fully booked. This is the only one with private hot springs. The hotel also has SPA. I booked a private hot spring room. Except for the beautiful scenery of the hotel restaurant and lobby, everything else is very average. It's full of tour groups. This is the most insincere hot spring hotel buffet I've eaten in Hokkaido."
"Although it is a single room, the room space is large, and the washbasin faucet in the room is a bit problematic.
The public pool has good hygiene and open air
The location is slightly off other hot spring hotels, so there is no convenience store to shop, which is less convenient.
Seeing other people's comments is different from the water quality of Shishengchuan Hot Springs. It is a type of hot spring that is generally soaked. I didn't notice it."
"The hotel is pretty big with 3 wings (building) linked together with plenty of car parking lots. The hotel looked dated but well maintained. There’s a shopping gallery @ lobby. Check in/check out is Smooth n fast. A female receptionist can speak mandarin (话语)maybe a Chinese descendent?
There is nothing much to see and eat in the vicinity. It will b good to go for half board (dinner n breakfast), n to use the onsen before n after dinner, n before breakfast. The onsen is pretty big with a few indoor pools n a outdoor pool, all of good hot spring quality. The tatami room is spacious clean n need. There is good choices of food n desserts @ dinner n breakfast.

"Its okay but the bath is very crowded always. Even when its suppose to be just for hotel guest there is still alot of people. Rooms are huge and clean though. And location will need a car i think."
"I stayed here on my first trip with my girlfriend.
We arrived from Kushiro in less than two hours.
The room was a Japanese-style room, spacious, and had a great atmosphere.
After checking in, we headed straight to the evening buffet.
We were able to eat sashimi, tempura, beef steak, braised pork, and more, and it was the most memorable buffet I've ever been to.
After eating, we headed to the hot springs.
We relaxed in the mall hot springs, which also had a sauna and an open-air bath.
We had a few drinks and slept in our futons at night, which was a blissful time.
When we woke up in the morning and went to the morning buffet, we had all-you-can-eat tobiko!
There were many other delicious dishes, so we were happy from the morning.
It's close to Obihiro city, so I highly recommend it."
"The best onsen experience I’ve had.
The entire property is packed with care and kindness by the staff and fully equipped with everything you need from toiletries to happy hour. The kaiseki dinner was one of the best I’ve had - not only the food but also the setting and presentation. Incredible to use the next door hotels big onsen and the outdoor onsen was beautifully landscaped.
The most gentle and intimate care of the staff really helped me relax and unwind the years hard work and stress. My mother very much loved as well.
Thank you Sanyoan. I look forward to coming back soon 💖"
