"Honestly, from the very first email I exchanged with Iva, I knew I was in for something special, but actually stepping onto the property completely blew me away. Getting to meet Iva in person was fantastic—she is absolutely incredible and personally gave me a wonderful tour of the entire property all the way down to the beach. Her hospitality, along with the rest of the staff, is completely unmatched; everyone greets you with the warmest, most welcoming faces that instantly make you feel at home. The orientation she gave was so thoughtful and detailed, showing just how much they care about making your experience perfect. The rooms are exceptionally neat, spotless, and have a lovely, cozy vibe, complete with an amazing hot shower in a beautiful bathroom. Outside, the property feels like a secret tropical oasis. The gardens are stunningly lush, wrapping around a cool, refreshing swimming pool that is perfect for lounging. But the absolute cherry on top has to be the rooftop; catching the sunset view from up there is pure magic and the perfect way to unwind. To top it all off, the food was spectacular—breakfast was fresh and nice, and dinner was absolutely awesome. It was such a beautiful, seamless experience, and I am already dreaming about going back!"

"It’s a nice hotel with regards to the rooms, pool areas, eating areas, and lounging areas. It felt clean and tidy. For dinner you can choose between the buffet and the á la carte. A lot of the food is quite westernized. The buffet felt safe, but not too exciting. The á la carte was very good! The staff are friendly, but only some of them are service oriented, not all. There are several smaller things that combined landed us on a 3/5. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our booking. We had to make some calls and the whole thing felt a little uncomfortable. After things got sorted out they told us it was their own system that messed up. Two days in a row we were asked to sign a bill for the minibar, although we hadn’t used it. We told them no both times and they x’ed out the bill. When we checked out the last day, we asked to go through all the bills with them. We then found out that they had included the bill from the minibar, even though we hadn’t signed it. The area down by the beach is very nice. They provide you towels, and there’s no fighting over the beds. At least not outside of the high-season. A few of the staff at the beach were helpful and friendly. Yet others made us feel like we bothered them when asking for drinks or food. As guests, that could make it quite uncomfortable."

"As the name implies, these are serviced apartments, it’s not a hotel. The location is slightly further from the beach than most tourist conveniences, but Paje is not big (we’re talking anbout 350m), and not being on the centre of tourism suits me better. It is quiet, has everything one needs, and John, the manager, was great. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I might suggest was a discomfort, was that when we had one of the notorious big island-wide blackouts for almost 12 hours, Nebo wasn’t the most prepared. I actually come from a country that has struggled with constant electricity for several years. Generators, solar lights, and more than anything, reassurance for tourists who may not know the area, are useful. The cooker is gas, and cellphones come with torches, so I was completely fine. It just would have been good I think, given how quiet it was, to check. I’d still recommend it."

"I attended a few yoga classes with Palma. She is a wonderful yoga teacher. She was very observant regarding the level of exercises that would fit the individual participants. I fully enjoyed it and would highly recommend her classes. The room I had was beautiful and calm. Very nice and definitely recommendable. Don’t expect high luxury, but a calm, clean experience in beautiful garden surroundings. Only 2 minutes from the beach. Literally on the beach (you don’t have a view of the sea), but more calm."
