"This beach resort offers a beautiful tropical escape with stunning views of the sandy beach and breathtaking sunsets. The pool located right in front of our room was definitely a highlight and a major reason to consider this specific room type for your stay. However, we did encounter a few issues during our visit. The beach had some patches of litter, which slightly affected the otherwise scenic setting. Inside the room, we found hair on the bed upon arrival, encountered cockroaches in the bathroom, and noticed a broken faucet along with poor water flow. The bathroom also showed signs of wear, including mold and yellow stains. The mattress was rather stiff and uncomfortable, particularly unsuitable for pregnant guests (my wife had difficulty sleeping because of this). While it’s clear the property is a bit dated, there’s still a lot of charm here, and with some maintenance and cleanliness improvements, it could truly shine."

"These were some of the best days of our vacation in Sabah, Malaysia. We initially rented this wonderful house for two nights, but after staying there, we decided to extend it for four more! The location is gorgeous, with a pristine beach, quiet and peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house is very cozy and charming. Inside, it's very spacious and has everything you need. In the morning, you can watch a wide variety of birds right from the balcony while sipping coffee. One evening, we rented a barbecue to grill fish. The owner was always nearby if we needed anything. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

"Unfortunately, there are rats in the bungalow at night that come in through a niche near the sliding door. Even live traps didn't help - on the "best" night, there were 7 rats in it. The rats also roam the restaurant. There is also erosion that could have been repaired long ago if the will had been there. The beach is full of flotsam and jetsam. The pool is only half full of salt water. The shampoo (etc.) bottles are made of glass (!) and if one breaks, you have to pay 52€ for it - an outrage. +++ The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating :-) :-) :-) The pool villa is very large, the bed very comfortable. The view is great, the pool has salt water again. The food is delicious. +++ We left a day earlier than planned because of the rats, and the management didn't respond to our email - extremely inappropriate for such an expensive resort. Communication is generally halting. Overall, disappointing, especially with the way the management treats its guests!!"
