"Our stay at the Mulberry House on the Grand was so incredible that I feel compelled to write a review. Due to the (large) size of my extended family, we usually need a bigger venue to accommodate all of us for our get togethers. With over thirty people and a few dogs, it was the perfect place to have our family Christmas party/retreat. Cindy and Mike are the most gracious hosts and made everyone feel welcome. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and had a wonderful view of the snow covered trees and the Grand River. It felt a bit like it was out of a fairytale. On top of all the luxuries of any hotel room, we had our own fireplace, which was particularly lovely at Christmas time. The beds were really comfortable and the room was well equipped. We have two young daughters who took full advantage of the warm indoor pool. We went swimming three separate times, and we had a blast every time. As a family, we also took advantage of the hot tub, and I also had a chance to use the therapy room which was relaxing and revitalizing. I have travelled extensively and this was the one of best breakfasts I’ve eaten! The four of us each chose a different breakfast and they were each delicious and different from each other. I don’t know how we could ever top that Christmas party, but I wouldn’t want to attempt it anywhere else now. The best part was that we could all stay in such a comfortable, welcoming space and not have to drive home after. Mulberry House is magical and the hosts really go above and beyond. 100% recommend. Treat yourself and you will not regret it!"

"Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable beds and up.to date rooms. Breakfast is very good with a great selection of food and the coffee is good. They are pet friendly but do charge 20.00 per night for a fur family member which I do dislike since my pet is quieter then most kids that I've seen there."

"Great staff - friendly and ready to help out, nice complementary breakfast, good parking! Hotel is old and needs renovation. AC unit was so noisy and wasn’t cooling. Had to change my room - staff was friendly and helpful with this. AC unit in Second room was still noisy - just a tad bit better than the first!"

"This place is great place to stay. It feels like a little apartment then a hotel room. Bed are comfortable and the room is clean. I like the glass stand up shower. The staff is great. Friendly and polite. I have stayed here several times and will stay again when I need to. Lastly, I think the price per night is a fair price."
