The room was relatively clean and tidy. Located halfway up the mountain, we had no choice but to eat at the owner's place for a simple meal. We ordered a medium-sized chicken hot pot for 168 yuan, which contained about half a pound of chicken, some dried bamboo shoots, tofu, and cabbage as side dishes. We also ordered a few other home-style dishes. The food was just average. For breakfast, we had egg noodles. After eating, we went up the mountain.

However, to get to this place, apart from driving yourself, you can only buy the afternoon bus from Tongren Station to Ziwei Town, and you have to get off halfway and walk 4 kilometers. You can see the most beautiful scenery by entering from the West Gate of Fanjing Mountain and exiting from the East Gate. There are trees all over the mountain when climbing from the East Gate, but the scenery is better when climbing up from the West Gate.
